Oh and back to the subject if you think it is so smart to park like that to "protect" your over priced fatty mobile, you might want to look up a concept called contributory negligence. If your parked in between two spots which is negligent behavior and somebody doesn't care about putting a ding in their own car too, they can basically take their door and slam into into yours as hard as they want. Heck they could probably even slam their car into yours as hard as they want. You'll be responsibly for your damages and they will be responsible for theirs which they probably won't even care about.

Actually your wrong. Your also assuming the person is going to say it was intentional. I'm sure they won't. Hence your back to contributory negligence. Insurance company will deny and it won't be worth any lawyers time to take it.
