Sirens

Anyone know what is going on? We've been hearing sirens for the past hour or so.

Plug your friends' ears with beeswax, tie yourself to a mast and tell them not to untie you no matter what. The sirens will fling themselves into the water and perish after you pass. Problem solved. Worked for me.

I was in chantilly yesterday near the airport, I've heard the same sirens for HOURSSS continually, and it seemed that they were not going anywhere. Later in the evening, I heard what sounded like a LOT of gunshots coming from the same IAD direction. wtf was that all about?
