BBW was started in the 1970s by a fat woman who wanted fat women (200, 300+ pounders) to feel good about themselves. Now, because everyone thinks they need a cute acronym or term to define themselves (see, thick, curvy, dad bod, BHM), women who are 20 pounds overweight call themselves BBW.
This causes men who think the 20 pound overweight gals are what all BBWs are to get mad when they profess their love for BBWs, and a big bitch like Tess Holliday starts making googly eyes at them.
Or were you talking about Bed Bath and Beyond?
