Have you ever texted someone and they take a day to get back to you and say they are busy, or they don't get back to at all?
But when you hang out with them, they constantly check their phone or check it within a millisecond of getting a notification?
The reason you don't hear back or get a significant delayed response is that you are not important to that person. People set priorities. If you are a priority, you will get a response quickly. Nobody is so busy that they cannot respond to text or email within an hour or so.
Keep this in mind next time someone ghosts you or delays response.

Incorrect. I listen to my friends bitch and complain that they don't get a response. I try to tell them but they just don't get it (or refuse to accept it).
