ok so i bought an 91 crx and i had the title and lost it. i orginally bought from friend who never had car put in his name and he no longer has guys info he bought car from. so no info to give dmv how do i get title.

Try running the VIN on Carfax.com , you might be able to find the old owner that way.

I vote you burry the car in Jersey, claim it stolen on insurance, take the $17.83 they'll give you for your total loss on a CRX and buy some lunch.

   you have to go to the person that is currently listed on the title and have them sign it over to you. flat out, there is no other [legal] way.
