So true. I work with the public, and so often I hear people - men and women - start conversations with "I served (loyalty, honor, blah, blah, blah)" so, consequently, obviously, I'm entitled to X. It's the ones, like my father who served in the Corps, who never asked for special treatment, benefits, etc., whom I admire --
...and then having to listen to these Mr. and Ms. Beetle Baileys... I cringe. I used to work in a doctor's office and so many former soldiers would ask my bosses to write up every complaint, every ass ache, so they could get an extra $500 for their veterans disability check or claims. Total scam.
It takes money and services away from veterans with real disabilities, suffering, and pain.
