I do not buy at Best Buy either. Regardless of the reason for the return including faulty product, you have to give up your identity if you have to make a return at the store as your drivers license/ID is scanned into a database to combat return fraud, supposedly secure but who can really make that claim in this Internet age. For this reason, I stick to Amazon, Walmart, and others for electronics purchases.
