What's the best way to get rid of a cold without medical insurance?

Best over the counter drugs to take when sick?

Current symptoms - on and off warm to hot forhead, leaky nose, hawking up liquid every 5 minutes

Currently taking - DayQuil once a day, and Ib profene

Any other suggestions? So far two days in a row of cold.
