A little cloudy out here in the Sweet Spot on this Memorial Day morning, as opposed to just totally fogged in over where all these assorted low-grade losers live. Well, it’s back to the slave wages of the salt mines today for the poorly educated pauper people. For wealthy Sweet Spot retirees, of course, it’s just another day of needing to choose just which ways in which to enjoy this next in an endless skein of one holiday after another. Yesterday, the wife and I enjoyed the company of The Principals in a soothing afternoon of mani/pedi sessions followed by a ‘Best of...’ bit at a nearby delicatessen. Lots of pastrami and a couple of Coronas. What a way to top the day! Having slept in now until mid-afternoon, we’ll likely just watch tape of the Nats today and maybe order in some tasty dinner. We’ll see.
