When you’re done, you sell the share. That varies from pool to pool. Some, you have to sell back to the pool and they’ll facilitate the sale to someone on the waitlist. “Were” life members? If you are life members, shouldn’t it be “are” life members? Vienna Woods, like many NVSL pools, is based on shares. You purchase a share. Then you pay annual dues. When you’re done, you sell the share. That varies from pool to pool. Some, you have to sell back to the pool and they’ll facilitate the sale to someone on the waitlist. Others, you can sell on the open market. Or, at least you used to be able to do that at some pools. I’ve heard the open market concept has gone away.
