Whats the most creative thing you can think of to get one over on a friend, acquaintance or brother-in-law without breaking the law?

Put orange hair dye in his shampoo, then he'll look like a fat version of this guy:

Two neighbors go on vacation at the name time, while they're gonna you dig up their houses and switch the spots. Although very hard and pretty illegal there would be nothing better than seeing them come home and not knowing wtf is going on with their houses being in a different spot lol!

It's not really very creative, but if you have access to his bathroom, few pranks can top the hilarity and grossness of Saran Wrap stretched across a toilet bowl.

I did this at the townhouse of an acquaintance of mine who was, quite simply, a dick. I was downstairs at his house when he used the entrapped toilet, and memories of his anguished and enraged cries of "Jesus Christ! What the fuck?! WHAT THE FUCK?!?!" still cause me to break out in giggles over two decades later.

This is an old trick, and not very creative, but is effective in having a high annoyance factor and no legal peril.

Loosen the top of the salt shaker so it all spills out when he tries to use it.

Alternative version, fill the salt shaker with sugar.
