Growing up next to the railroad tracks, they played a part in my life. When I was younger my friends and I would walk the railroad tracks because we would be in the middle of nowhere and it was pretty cool. The scenery was really cool to us. Later on in life we would chill in an area accessed by the railroad tracks and just party there. Through all of this I encountered the railroad police a couple of times. Huge bastards these guys are. When we were like 10 I want to say this one threatened to take us to Juvenile for just walking on the tracks. Another time this one cowboy told us that we couldn't even cross the tracks to walk down the street and if he saw us he would arrest us on the spot. They would also tell us how they had a paddy wagon on rails which would drive up and down the railroad picking up kids like us to take to jail. This was all pre 9/11 so I hate to see how far the badge has gone to their head now. Oh and one last story. We had one weirdo railroad cop tell us that men walked up and down the railroad tracks looking for little boys to sodomize and murder. He then told us that if we didn't know what sodomize meant to ask our parents.
