DS-9 actually had some great actors and fresh value
it was like they were trying to hold together a city and it kept trying to impolode
didn't get to see many though. some damn forengee took my money never gave it back !
i wouldn't say it's a rodenberry spin off because it really had it's own story and stood on it's own legs

Yeah, Garak added a lot to the show with his Obsidian Order background. Also, Jake and Nog together were far less obnoxious than Wesley Crusher.

I liked Voyager. It was the most like the original series. They were on a ship in the middle of nowhere and had to figure shit out. Once 7 of 9 showed up it became a better show, and not just because of the boobs. Her character was interesting, too.
DS9 had some cool characters but the whole thing stayed around one spot. ANd there was that wierd religious thing. I got bored and lost track halfway through.

DS9 may have been the best ST series but, it was a rip-off of Babylon 5. The writers pitched Babylon 5 to Paramount and they rejected it and then Paramount went out and created DS9 off of the Babylon 5 pitch.

Yes, DS9 ripped off the concept of Babylon 5, but DS9's props, costumes, makeup, actors, CGI were all vastly superior to Babylon 5.
