Now, it's usually whoever came second in the primary.

Could you imagine Trump being veep for Biden? Or Hillary being veep for Trump? I think I could see McCain or Romney serving as veep to Obama.

But how about GHWB being veep for Clinton? Or Carter for Reagan?
