He got an Associates Degree in some Science. He will pursue a BS degree at perhaps University of Virginia, College Park if accepted. He maintained a very good GPA. After that the "sky is the limited" for this go getter.

Meade rented a cap and gown to appease his father. Then he made a Vlog wearing them to explain how he needs a couple of more classes to actually graduate.

Meade does need to get a degree that teaches him dictionary skills. Of course, he will realize the 'liberal arts' has no connection with 'liberal politics'. And only an idiot would have reacted the way he did.

"Liberal Arts" is more prestigious -- or more accurately less watered down sounding -- than "General Studies"

Liberal Arts is the name for the field or college that includes academic subjects such as literature, philosophy, mathematics, and social and physical sciences -- as distinct from professional and technical subjects. For example Mathematics and Chemistry are both Liberal Arts.

"General Studies", on the other hand, is typically the name used for a watered down degree that includes substantial remedial high-school-level coursework, classes in personal finance aka how to balance a checkbook, and awards academic credit simply for having a pulse as "life experience".

Liberal Arts is structured to give the student a well rounded higher education. Designed for the Nova Rich types.

Yes, Liberal Arts is a very well rounded general curriculum. It does not include engineering, business, or accounting but those would be valuable electives in a Liberal Arts degree.

We are talking about a two-year community college degree.

He can apply to a four-year college with one without having to provide his high school transcripts.

Hopefully he gets a scholarship. I heard Julliard was looking at him.

Meade's best bet is getting into med school.

VCU School of Medicine is always looking for cadavers.

Everywhere is so dumbed-down now that Meade could skate through to graduation. I've been teaching on-and-off for 30 years and there has been a steady decline in standards. It's depressing.

Meade started college after high school, according to his online statements. I forgot if he said why he quit.
