#1 CBS edited out the photo showing the Mustang above had pressed the BRAKE to avoid hitting the car in front of him - and that rowdy democrats in the crowd had been and were continuing to attack the vehicle

#2 the dodge challenger hadn't been retro-fitted with air-bags

those old cars were not as safe in high speed crash. they could bend up and trap you inside. had no airbag. but you weren't supposed to drive them at high speed like a race driver in the city. infact there were SPEED LIMIT signs prohibiting it.

a few deaths were from a bent up car trapping pinching a person, a few due to seats which were not properly bolted to car.

a few more deaths were from steering wheel "puncturing the driver" (non-collapsible type, when in a high speed accident - somewhat rare)

many of the deaths were due LACK OF WEARING SEATBELT - a prevalant thing back when the car was "actually on the road"


MOST DEATHS WITH OLD CARS WERE CAUSED BY PASSENGERS WHO WERE EJECTED FROM THE VEHICLE through windows (no seatbelt), they would die after they left the vehicle

some things you have to tell millenials, because they can't look back in history and know them

your OBAMA teacher probably told you most auto deaths in older cars were because asians didn't build them!
