The first step in combating the illegal problem

I hear politicians spewing numbers anywhere from 10 to 40 million around when it comes to the illegals. I suspect 40 or more is accurate. In order to tackle any problem it is best to assess the situation before decisions and policies are made.

Prior to any further "Comprehensive" amnesty discussion to be taken seriously the following should be administered in order to get an exact number:

1. All illegals with any dream of staying here should be forced to register, be fingerprinted and have DNA samples submitted. I'm sure the SSA would have no problem keeping more files on people.

2. Those that don't are enemies of the U.S. and immediately deported, no questions, no due process awarded.

If this simple first step was implemented, I'm sure America would be shocked at the true number and demand action now.

This is a logical approach, something That if Trump proposed would catapult him into the Whitehouse.

^^^ Seriously, c'mon! Nothing is or will be done. Just a lot of talk from the candidates to get elected.

Reality,

1. America is gone.
2. American values gone.
3. Government doesn't have the balls to fix the problem because of law suits that would follow.
4. American society doesn't do anything either. Most people have their precious little possessions and they don't want to lose them so they just turn the other cheek.
5. You think a revolution is needed or will happen? Refer back to #4 above.

Actually, all you have to do is remove the safe harbor provisions of 8 U.S. Code ยง 1324a, increase the civil money penalties for someone who hires illegal aliens to not less than $20,000 per violation, and add provisions saying that whistleblowers are entitled to a 50% cut of any civil money penalties.

You'll get people tripping over themselves as they sprint to turn in their bosses for hiring illegal aliens because they want to get paid big.

Additionally, make the sending of remittances to a foreign country a disqualifying act for welfare eligibility, because if someone does this, he's basically taking money from the government to cover some or all the shortfall he's experiencing from sending that money.

If you make it unprofitable for people to come here illegally and, more importantly, unprofitable to *hire* people that have come here illegally, the problem will sort itself out in very short order.

very accurate

The USA is in an uncontrolled freefall. It's only a matter of time. In the next 10 or so years, the dollar will no longer be the standard and the US will default. But at least the country can say they elected a black guy and a woman. That's all that really matters.

"They were founded in ignorance, not wickedness. God forbid we should ever be 20 years without such a rebellion. The people can not be all, and always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented in proportion to the importance of the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty."
