Lombardy St is not in Carytown! That is the ghetto Krogers on Lombardy/Broad st.towards VCU. Carytown Krogers is much nicer.

I know...the one in Carytown used to be the International Safeway. It's got a great sushi section.

This Kroger on Lombardy has rather.....overzealous loss prevention.

Clarifying eesh's rather cryptic statement:

The Kroger's loss prevention that eesh characterizes as "overzealous", I'd characterize as "observant".

How do you know that was Eesh? This looks like slander.

It's convenient if you are at VCU, but the Carytown Martin's and Kroger are much better.

You're absolutely right. I'm sure there were many, many 33-year-old white males living at 8106 Strath Road on July 21, 2014, and any one of them could have been arrested for shoplifting at the Lombardy Street Kroger.

The thing I find most amusing is eesh's characterization of his arrest as a result of "overzealous loss prevention", when his own posts and private messages (for example, in this thread: http://www.fairfaxunderground.com/forum/read/40/1640800/page-1.html) detail his strategies for successful shoplifting.

No, the Kroger that took over the location has a great sushi selection. They carry the same brand Whole Foods uses, and charge a lot less for it.

That's interesting. I have never had good luck with store bought sushi from american grocery stores.
