Projected Christmas Lights

They look like shit. Its not decorating it looks as if someone is spraying shit all over your house when you put those holiday projections on. The moving ones look more like scary Halloween images than cheerful Christmas icons. What gives with this bullshit lazy trend.

Ive noticed people that actually put lights carefully on their houses and trees are now a dying breed. The care in those decorations is so beautiful - are we going to replace that with shitty dancing snowflakes from a stupid projector. Come on people.

They can be a decent adjunct to a well thought out Christmas light display. By themselves they are lame. In these days when fewer people will put up any outdoors holiday decorations though even a lame effort is an improvement.

I disagree, they suck and have no place in any light display. Alone, they are worse than no effort at all.

IF they are done correctly. I like to project them (very subtle barely visible dots of light) up to the treetops, where it would be quite imposible to string lights.

What I hate are any inflatable decorations. Fiuckthem they look like shit

+1

The inflatable decorations are hideous. The projection lights are nowhere near as bad.

Inflatables are ok in some cases. We have a Snoopy flying a biplane on a white net runway in our neighbor hood and it looks pretty good. Projections are simply the worst. The very best are the old timers that spend hours carefully putting up lights on house and bushes. Tree wrapping is beautuful but a real pain in the ass - took me 3 hours to do one tree in our yard with 600 feet of lights and 2 ladders.

fuck projections and fuck inflatables without any theme or surrounding lighting - thats some lazy shit there.

Remember, feelings arent actions. With professional help you can avoid prison by channeling your violent thoughts into more productive behavior. Christmas is a time of joy for those of us who know Jesus - perhaps this is something you could explore. If you must act out please start with the laser projectors, much more challenging targets.

I don't know about your city, but in old England, too bright decorations are not accepted. We will make Christmas wreaths from different materials together with the children. There will be fresh flowers inside the house. This is our tradition. You can compose compositions yourself or order on the website with delivery - https://www.flowerdelivery.org.uk/ Such flowers have special sponges at the base and can stand for several days without special supervision on my part. This is just enough for several family dinners with different relatives))
