I got a media notice to be at FedEx Field tomorrow morning for the announcement. I will be there, and send a report.

Craig Melvin from NBC will be hosting the event and the name will be announced live on the Today Show.

Dozens of people leaked the name, and probably with the blessing of Snyder. That is how these things work.

The assumption is that if the WC can start winning then everyone will rally around the new name. There may be some truth to that. If OTOH the franchise continues performing at its present level or worse then the new name will be another reason for people to walk away.

Nope, the press unvailing was a big bust because only a few showed up after channel 4 reported the wall mural. The empty seats picture was not what Dan wanted.
