krav maga is a good defense mechanism. i once had a coworker become insanely weird; consulted an attorney about it and everything. while there was nothing i could do to him legally (aside from filing a police report, which i did), i could learn how to defend myself.

It's a semiauto Barret .50 BMG. A bit more punch then your erector set, but not the weapon I'd recommend for self defense. In addition to being too large and heavy for carrying, it also fires rounds, which, after making your attacker's organs explode, will continue onward with enough momentum to penetrate quite a bit of material, including bricks and masonry and even a fair amount of solid steel. It's also loud enough to wake up the dead guy you just knocked down.
Not that I have a problem with any of that, in fact it makes it a very cool rifle. Just not something you slip into your purse on your way to the grocery store is all.
