Once you cross over into birther territory with the Rothschilds and Bildeburgs controlling us all, it's not longer an exchange of ideas and opinions but rather talking with a raving lunatic (that would be you). Have fun in the nuthouse with the rest of the lobotomized droolers. Don't let them catch you on the computer. Another explanation of the rage though. Crazy people hate to be told they are crazy.

Good job Heimy. We can't have that kind of talk so close to the source.

A few years ago, a dreadful movie called "An American Carol" was about to be released. Hannity kept talking it up and saying things like "If it does well at the box office, Hollywood will make more 'conservative' movies,†“this will be one of the funniest movies you will ever see.†He said the same thing about the dangerous movie "expelled," but changed the word “funniest†to “thought provoking.â€

On the day before each film opened, Hannity interviewed the producers, and praised the films on TV and radio. On the day the film opened there were several "callers" to the Hannity radio program telling hannity they couldn't wait to see the films, and one caller saying she was on her way to see the film. Hannity kept endorsing the movies, and encouraging his audience to go see it.

The calls were clearly plants. With all the talking Hannity did about the movies, and praising the producers on his radio and TV shows, it would not surprise me Hannity was paid for his endorsements. The guy is scum.

Then last fall, Hannity had on his radio show the founder of the scam site ashleymadison.com. Hannity appeared to be disgusted with the guy, but kept saying the guy’s “claims,†as “facts.†I seriously don’t believe 60,000 women signed up with Ashleymadison.com the day after Mothers day because they were pissed of at their husbands. But Hannity kept repeating that lie as if it were fact. Hannity grilled the guy on how immoral his service was, but kept saying “Ashley madson.com,†and “discount.†Then, Hannity said that the guy was going to be on his TV show that night, and they were going to show the ashleymadison.com TV commercials the networks “refuse to air.†Then I knew it was a fake interview. Again, Hannity is scum.

What the heck is a "fake" interview? Oh like the one's Charlie Gibson did in 2008 with Barrack H. Obama where he teed up questions like, "Your republican opponent says you will raise taxes to pay for more big government. Is he right?" and then asks McCain, "Why did you reverse yourself and now support the Bush tax cuts when you called them big business handouts and corporate welfare 18 months ago?"

Do you see the difference. With Obama, Gibson has the republicans making allegations and then give Obama a chance to tear it down. With McCain, he accuses as fact with his question, uses inflammatory terms and immediately puts McCain on the defensive.

Talk radio slants right, the big network news slant left. This is provable and fact. As long as viewers know that, why get riled up at what comes out of our radios/TV's?

That Ashley Madison thing kills me. They play a commercial regulary on Fox that shows some guy who claims he is outraged by Ashley Madison and wants you to sign a petition or something. But meanwhile they have Ashley Madison's website address up on the screen and the guy is talking about how immoral it is that they can "guarantee you a discreet affair." Oh, and did I mention the website was ashleymadison.com? Where you can get the guaranteed afair? Yes, anyway please sign the petition.

Fox just turned them down for ad time during the Super Bowl. They probably couldn't afford it anyway and had a deal with Fox to turn them down so that Fox could then report on the ensuing "controversy." Free advertising for Ashley Madison, ratings for Fox--everybody wins.

The fake interview here is Sean aggreeing with the false premiss that American Carol was a "great movie." Or, Hannity entertaining as "thought provoking" that evolution shoud be taught side by side with intelligent design.

Media coverage of the 2008 campaign was a huge disgrace. They willfully promoted the hype and the fairy tale of Obama as a competent and qualified leader.

John McCain recently said, Obama is a competent and qualified leader. What do you know that John McCain doesn't? Do you think he's lying? Why would he do that?

Sounds like an old man trying to be gracious.

Now did Joe Biden lie when he said Barry Obama wouldn't be ready for a national emergency or was that just campaign rhetoric with no truthful foundation?

Joe Biden became Barry's running VP you know.

So Hannity's opinion on a movie constitutes a fake interview? Or his view (shared by more than 30% of the US population) is a fake interview? Strange, very strange.

OK, all mud-slinging aside, I was being humerous here (not trying to insult some stranger, but you ARE strange! LOL)

"First, they [Nazis] came for the Jews. I was silent. I was not a Jew. Then they came for the Communists. I was silent. I was not a Communist. Then they came for the trade unionists. I was silent. I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for me. There was no one left to speak for me." Margaret Pepper (New York: Harper &Row, 1989), 429 -as cited on page 44, note 17, of Religious Cleansing in the American Republic, by Keith A. Fornier, Copyright 1993, by Liberty, Life, and Family Publications.
Some versions have Mr. Niemöller saying: "Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speak up, because I was a Protestant"; other versions have him saying that they came for Socialists, Industrialists, schools, the press, and/or the Church; however, it's certain he DID say SOMETHING like this. Actually, they may not have come for the Jews first, as it's more likely they came for the prisoners, mentally handicapped, & other so-called "inferiors" first -as historians tell us -so they could get "practiced up"; however, they did come for them -due to the silence of their neighbors -and due in part to their own silence. So: "Speak up now or forever hold your peace!"-GWW

That actually isn't proof that MOST callers are plants. In fact, the link you use to support your claim uses the word SOME. Apparently, you are not smarter than a 5th grader. Are you a product of the FCPS?

Why do you not worry about the lies and propoganda being spread by Bill Maher?

I don't know the percentage, but yes, on Sean Hannity's show a scripted caller is put through at 52 minutes past the hour. You can set you watch by it. And also, the last hour of Hannity's radio show is indeed not live.

I can see that some radio talk show hosts would have to pay people to call in because they have no listeners. However if Limbaugh did this he would be exposed under no uncertain circumstances. Where are the pay stubs? Who is it that won't come forward? Are we going to here the source remains anonymous out of fear? Rush might put out a hit? This is such a fabricated non story it's ridiculous.

You seemed to know in your previous posts when you used the word MOST. So, you either don't know the definition of MOST, or you are admitting to being full of shit in your previous post.

More from the Tablet article:

-- Michael Harrison, the editor of Talkers Magazine, the talk-radio world’s leading trade publication, said he knew nothing of this particular service but was not altogether surprised to hear that it was in place. There was, he said, a tradition of “creating fake phone calls for the sake of entertainment on some of the funny shows, shock jocks shows, the kind of shows you hear on FM music stations in the morning, they would regularly have scenarios, crazy scenarios of people calling up and doing pranks.”

The only mention of Hannity, Beck, etc. is the single sentence that Clear Channel syndicates them. Classic association fallacy. FUNdy fell for it.

Sean Hannity and Mark Levin don't take that many "non interview" calls; most of the time they are interviewing on the phone with a politico, or reporter for some blog or conservative website or something. So, they usually get no more than three "callers" an hour. Of those three callers, at least one definite is fake, but I have my deep suspicion on the others; they all seem to follow the same script format. If Sean gives them something, flowers, a book, etc. they are scripted. I really should sit down and listen for all three hours and count all the scripted callers, but, as far a pain goes, I would rather get a tooth pulled.

I couldn't care less if any show has scripted callers. If I don't like a show, I don't listen. It appears to me that the success of people like Rush, Hannity and Beck (I don't listen to any of these guys) anger some people, so they have to try to destroy them. Funny how nobody cries about Jon Stewart's program treating itself like a real news program. I guess it's only bad if it occurs on the right?

You DO realize Jon Stewart is on COMEDY CENTRAL right? And that 98.6% of the people who see it REALIZE its comedy?

Talkers magazine is a joke in the industry. It does nothing to boost the community as a whole it serves. Mr. Harrison one year forgot to put Opie and Anthoney on the list of top talkers, and when they complained, he put them at #12.

What he is talking about is a service that ties in news to morning bits, and there are a couple of service out there that do that- provide copy and a fake phone call. Example. After doing a piece on the Little League World Series, a morning show will get a "call" from a father who complains that due to all these good LL baseball players, his kid doesn't ever get a chance to play. He wants the better players to step aside and give the less talented a chance to hit the ball. He throw in lines like, "my kid can't hit a ball; so what, that doesn't mean he shouldn't have a chance to play." The hosts laugh at him, and invite people to call in and comment on what the guys says. That is "bit radio," and services provide these "prewritten bits" for morning shows. The service above offers people to call in and read your script. Very different.

Of course I know it's on Comedy Central. I may be an idiot, but I'm not reatrded. My point is that plenty of people get their news from the Daily Show and nobody complains about that so who cares if there are scripted callers to other shows. They all cater to their target audiences, radio shows and TV shows both.

Connect it to Hannity, Limbaugh or Beck. You made the assertion that "MOST their calls are scripted." Back it up with hard evidence, not some innuendo or association fallacies. All you have come up with so far is that SOME calls to other stations using situational comedy have been proven scripted. In fact, the Tablet article only mentions such calls, no political ones. Simply put, put up or shut up.

I HAVE BEEN A CALLER TO THE MARK LEVIN, RUSH AND HANNITY SHOWS
-ALL OF WHICH I HAVE NEVER BEEN PAID FOR ANY OF MY OPINIONS, NOR
HAVE I BEEN ASKED TO SAY ANY SCRIPTED MATERIAL. THEY SIMPLY ASK
YOU YOUR NAME AND ASK FOR A BRIEF IDEA OF WHAT YOU WANT TO SAY
AND THEY ALSO ASK THAT WHEN YOU SAY IT, YOU REMAIN ON-TOPIC.

END MYTH.

Rush Limbaugh has already denied using scripted callers in response to this article. It seems to me, if the accusation wasn't there, why did he feel the need to address it? Also, Hannity denied using this service today, but, interestingly enough, the quality of speech patterns of Hannity's callers today went downhill today. Lots of "ums" and stammerings, and no "sean, you a great American..." Premiere when asked directly this afternoon didn't deny these callers call Hannity and Limbaugh.

That is your proof that MOST callers to these shows are scripted plants? Really?

I don't know but I'll tell you one thing. There are a lot posters here that should pay me to write their posts for them. I'd be great for the liberals since I use to be one. Hell, I know them better than they know themselves! I would make much stronger arguments in supporting their agenda increasing their I.Q. 40 points on its face. On appearance anyway.

In reply to Billy & company:

Yes, it is true that on "Date: January 19, 2011 09:32AM" that which was "Posted by: FUNdamental ()" did in fact say the following:

""Talk Radio for the most part isn't "talk," as in "conversation." Did you know **MOST** of the callers to the Sean Hannity show and the Mark Levin show are scripted plants? The callers are given a script writen [sic] by the host and producers, and the producers call them a few minutes before they go on the air. It is nothing more than a shill, and could be considered propaganda.""

(Emphasis added in capitalisation for clarity)

However, on my honour, I think things are really getting off-colour, off-centre & 'out of control' here. Cheque THIS out:

While Fundy here, DID in fact possibly make a mistake (or if correct, he/she did NOT completely document his/her claim -and THAT is just a big a bad mistake), you are human, and YOU (and I) and all of us make mistakes --I think you don't realise the more over-arching and main point here that Fundy was making:

Namely that talk show hosts (or perhaps their staff and call-screeners) are NOT 100% 'Puritan' honest as they claim.

That said, I think FUNdamental is upholding moral rights and wrongs, and personal responsibility (even tho he apparently over-reached a little), and in that sense, I would adopt him to our side, as a good honest conservative --and expose Sean Hannity as "less than" 100% conservative -partly liberal, in fact.

(In case you all have forgotten, I am more conservative than Rush and Beck combined: Hannity is only 'partly' conservative as I prove in my original page linked above.)

Here's the "main" entry, which has the 'call screener' Op-Ed:

http://GordonWatts.com/#hannity -- or:

http://GordonWayneWatts.com/#hannity

With no disrespect meant ... Let the Billy who is without sin cast the 1st stone: (Jesus, paraphrased: John 8:7)
