90% of the posters on this site, have some pretty constructive criticism of the show. 10% of the posters are a little creepy with the daughter talk and house pictures. FP decides to focus solely on the 10% and lump the other 90% in with them because it's the only way that he can justify so many people that have constructive things to say that are breaking down his dear leader. It's a classic defence mechanism when people hate something you like. You find a few that are stupid, or mentally ill, or just plain bitter and you lump the whole group into that. "Well ya, they hate the show that I love but they don't know what they're talking about, they're all just angry and bitter like that one guy. Mike is the best!"

You make me sad FP. We post here because it's fun to have other people have the same criticisms and be able to joke about this failed DJ that took a show we loved and shat all over it. You post here because you are so blinded by your fanboy love if this failed DJ that you spend your time here defending him. I don't criticize the fans on his FB page making comments, that's fine, they're fans and that's an outlet to "speak" to mike. You take it to a whole other level though. You seeked out a forum criticizing your dear leader and spent hours reading and posting to defend him. That's fucking pathetic FP. I was a true supporter of the show. My husband and I religiously listened to the podcast. We went to the State Theatre. We bought the DVDs. Then something happened. RJ left and when he was in financial need, Mike downplayed RJs contribution to the show and offered him nothing. Then the bizarre way they handled Buzz's departure. Not to mention Marc Ronick who then departs to pursue "other opportunities" but remains "connected to the show" for big events. I don't even hear Marc's name mentioned as helping O'MearaCon. My husband and I stopped listening. We had enough. I know RJ, Buzz, and Marc are really great people - and we never got the full story or any story about what happened. And now we are left with Oscar and Robb who sound like they are constantly worried about getting "fired." This has made the show so awkward to listen to. I'm not sure what happened, but something did. I think it's insulting to now call a news segment "news you can't use" -- it downplays Buzz's contribution to the show. I'm venting here, but truly wanted this show to succeed. I'm so disappointed.

00:36-15:07: Opening: Sexist Memo from Law Firm. Robb stepped on Mike’s opening joke, then repeated it after Mike said it, so the joke was made 3 times in 1 minute. Mike clearly did not read the whole memo in advance. This is the show open, so they could have easily prepared in advance, yet they still spent 01:36-03:40 waiting for Robb to find background music for the bit. Mike agrees with much of the memo, so long as it applies to both sexes. Mike comments on what he would teach a broadcast class, including the audience not forgiving a lack of preparation. Practice what you preach, damn it! We found the one thing from Mike that Robb won’t fake laugh at: Ron Burgundy. Nevermind, once Mike made a Ron Burgundy reference that Robb didn’t know was a Ron Burgundy reference (jazz flute), Robb started laughing. So either Robb was laughing at something he doesn’t find funny in order to please Mike, or Robb actually finds Ron Burgundy funny and doesn’t know it/won’t admit it.

The first poster uploaded a picture of the house which was funny because, well ... trash. Mike's talked on the show about how he and Carla generate a "cartoon-size" pile of trash every week, and there it was. Not creepy. Great show tie-in.

I was kind of sad to see how shabby it looked, but on Google Maps it was just that one side shot on an overcast day, so I hit the button on a few more angles because frankly, it *is* actually a pretty nice house and the other pics show that. Consider all the show stories involving the blessed Victorian ... the numerous yard sales, the driveway RJ and Robb fought over for parking, the same driveway which almost got snowblown with equipment which may or may not have been borrowed/stolen from show funds one year, the street where that huge crash took place that canceled an episode and pretty much creamed Robb's car ...

If you're offended because I never left my keyboard, spent five minutes posting publicly available flattering pics of the outside of a house which Mike himself has publicly posted the INSIDE of, with relevance to the interests of anyone following the 30-year career of a radio legend ... you're a fucking self-delusional lady-boy, no offense to proper lady-boys.

WOW!!! I never, NEVER realized that I would start such a shit storm. I had a simple thought of something that would piss off a guy who ripped me off by not providing a video series for which I had paid for...

I must have REALLY gotten under FancyPants skin, for him to respond in such a vehement manor. He's not giving it up. I posted the "Don and Dukes" comment, not because I thought it would ever happen, or that I thought it would be a good show (personally, I don't think it will ever happen, nor would it be a good show if it did). TMOS Stats is my HERO for going to the effort to document how failing the failcast is. In a week or two, he or she should be able to just copy and paste previous entries as needed, though, since the show never changes. Might even be able to write a little app like Tomo does and that app could just spit out the show's stats based on past experience!

Thanks to everyone that recaps the show on here. I used to listen because the hypocrisy was entertaining, but the whiny host/incessant laugh track is too grating for me. I've listened too quite a number that I enjoy, but a daily 1 hour show would be great.

Don when he is on but the idiot sports callers are making it hard to stay with, and that he is not on every weekday.

The Bugle, as suggested here. It's good but not frequent enough.

Getting Doug with High, the new effort by Doug Benson. So far it gets a meh

I listened to the Fraudcast® yesterday. I should have known better. Fatman started a fire in his fireplace at the Google-mapped world studio, but he forgot to open the flue. On top of this, he used a Duro-log to start the fire! This is incredibly dangerous. Those things put out carbon monoxide and will kill you if you do it in closed room. You can take a nap and never wake up. I believe he did this while holding his poor son. "C'mon man!" The man takes queeniness to whole new levels.

Then there was a discussion about painting a room bright blue without asking his wife or testing other colors. Just moronic type shit. While this is going on, Headdd and Oscarina are giggling like little girls. Really, I think some stupid girls have told the Bolivian that his silly puppy sounds are sexy and cute. Why else would a man do this? It is actually worse than Headdd's ass-kissing nervous laugh.

At this point I LITERALLY turned it off. Really, I keep hoping a show would be worth listening to, but I honestly can't get through one.

Completely agree about oscars cutesy noises. It's a new development as well. I think it has to do with his new girlfriend. When she's on the show, she really sounds like a cutesy baby-talker type. Oscar is the type of weak personality that picks up the traits of the people he's around the most. When he was on the radio, he hung out with a lot of dudes and had the bro-dog laugh and slang. Now that he's hanging out with Todd Moore and his baby-talking girlfriend, the bro-dog traits have turned into cutesy traits. Surprisingly, I MUCH preferred the bro-dog Oscar. It's difficult to listen to a man that makes puppy noises and giggles like a school girl.

Robb mentions he's lost a lot of weight recently since he's sworn off alcohol completely leading up to the State Theatre show. (Apparently wants to be pretty for the show). Not sucking down multiple Becks each night or enduring Weight Not -- you decide the better weight loss regimen.

i really like oscar and find him entertaining, but that laugh really is grating. of course, i don't think that was his choice to do that. i wonder if robb gave him pointers to achieve that??

as for other podcasts, i like greg fitzsimmons, and also dana gould. dana's podcast is definitely unique in the way it's structured. kinda scattered as far as actually putting out the podcast, but i really like it.

If you are looking for good podcasts I would go with Norm MacDonald and Jay Mohr.

Norm’s podcast is dry humor at its finest. Listen to his Larry King interview podcast. F’ing funny.

I never liked Jay Mohr before, but after listening a couple of his podcasts I am sold on his style. He talks about his days on SNL and doing stand-up. It is both interesting and funny.

Both Norm and Jay are funny and they can actually interview a guest and you don’t have that annoying morning zoo, fake laughter feel to them.
You won’t be able to listen to TM(P)0S after listening to them.

Stewart Copland – Forms the police. Fights with Sting. His dad being a CIA operative that helped put Assad in power in Syria and Hussein in Iraq. Talks about Buddy Rich asking for his autograph.

Mohr is funny in his own right, does spot-on funny impressions, and knows how to interview a guest.

AND THERE IS NO FAKE ANNOYING LAUGHTER AT EVERY LITTLE THING!!!

Give Norm or Jay a try for 5 podcast listens and you will be hooked. I can honestly say that after listening to them, I cannot listen to TM(P)OS anymore. TM(P)OS is just too much of a jive, morning-zoo show with too little content and too much filler.

Yeah, the format TMOS is still beating is DEAD. Trying to reproduce a dead radio format that died 12 years ago (at best), recording it, and putting it up on iTunes has run its course. To be honest, I'm surprised they were able to milk it this long. No gas left in that tank. I'm willing to bet download stats and paid subscriber trends support this idea. I know I unsubscribed a long time ago and haven't bought a thing or used Amazon link in at least a year.

I do like Adam Carolla. Very witty. He is master of complaints! I also listen to Dana Gould, Jay and Norm - although he seems to have dropped it. I also think Tom Green is a surprisingly good interviewer. If you like football and sports, the Dave Damesheck football program - that guy is VERY funny. For local color, you might like 'Sadly Lacking' which often mentions Don and Mike. These guys have a relaxed conversational tone with lots of natural humor - great chemistry. They do a 'drinking show,' a 'movie show' and a simple talk show. I also like some 'paranormal/UFO' shows that have outstanding guests.

Anyway, there is something for everybody and these TMOS guys have to STOP the morning zoo with insane forced laugh track and puppy sounds. Really, I will no longer listen to Oscarina and his 'pet sounds.' No way. I'm out.

Today's show was too much. The endless birthdays suck as always but the endless Tony Bloom banter was too much. I wish they would focus on making the listeners laugh and not each other.

Look at you and your former partner Mike. It hasn't been an easy road for Don, he tried Sacramento and yes he got fired. But he has returned to the radio Mike on your former station. Don never lost the passion for radio like you did Mike. Although some question if you ever had it or just rode the coat tails to the very end.

So here you sit in front of a microphone in you living room with two laughing hyenas doing it "on your terms". Well Mike your show is canned, unprepared and seems lazy. Make us want to listen Mike, listen to the opinions of those of us who supported and listened in the good old days. Oh hellz yes. Pony Boy is barely interesting enough to justify an appearance on the show once a month. They could have turned busting his balls about taking a day off into something entertaining, but he was completely unable to hold his own in the conversation, and the whole thing dragged on way too long. And lord knows, when you're putting out comedy gold like that, keep on repeating it as much as possible. Whoever it was who said TMOS stats could just re-post the same thing every few days was spot on.

Donny's show is getting better as he gets comfy. The balance is good and the show tonight was very good. Even the sports stuff. But there was alot of non sports like Joe Ardenger trick or beer.

I couldn't agree more. He even made Dan Fouts sound interesting, and he's one of the most boring of the NFL commentators.

But here's something I found funny. I don't know if it's fate or what, but since I became disenchanted with TMOS a few weeks ago, I've been downloading old episodes of Don & Mike from PYBS, because I miss the old days. Today I happened to listened to an episode from 1999 where Doni G talked about his trip to Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede. And what do you know, tonight on 106.7 The Fan, what story did Doni G tell?

I laughed out loud. Not an irritating AH HAH HAAAAAH HAAAH laugh like Oscar does to satisfy Mike, but a normal everyday human laugh like most of us have.

It is only ok by comparison... The mailbag was long, the Tony Bloom segment was repetitive and lame and the sugarglider story was meh...I failed to see the bag of ok, but to each his own....

It was a great show if you like the constant interruptions of Rob while someone's telling a story.

Mike should embrace the pork chop thing and make a joke of it. He could wear a big plastic pork chop around his neck like Flavor Flav. I know I'd laugh with him for once.

I wonder if Don being on the radio will effect Mike's ability to bilk DC fans of money. I think that people continue to support his live shows and pay for extra content due to a sense of loyalty to the old Don & Mike show. Maybe they feel as if they should support Mike, but now that Don is back. They can turn their support to him. I just don't get what people find entertaining in the show. I use to listen to Mike's show everyday, but now I can barely listen to five minutes of it. I just find it incredibly boring, trite, and petty. They don't offer anything novel, insightful, or clever. Most of Robb's audio vault clips are things I heard on the Internet weeks beforehand.

Mike is one of them. One of those terrible Podcasts produced in the basement of some guy's parents house. Expensive microphones and a sound effect machine doesn't make you a professional or talented. I love the Bill Burr podcast. He records it on a cheap mixer and it is funny because he is talented. He is able to put out a quality podcast without a whole bunch of bills got equipment.

I have to admit to liking oscar. Mostly because he is the least annoying out of the three of them.

I don't understand how mike and Robb actually help to support their families by working on a podcast. If I was Carrie. I would have kicked Robb's ass to curb since he seems unwilling to grow up and refuses to take on any adult responsibilities when it comes to getting a job.
