Yes, Why again am I interested in a 20-something girl newscaster from where?

As for the new Skype connection: I'm very encouraged about it. If Yoko sits in her corner in a bag laughing her ass off and yipping and screaming blissful pet sounds while Fat Baby is trying to explain his trip to Denny's, it will walk all over the audio and Mike's huge swollen face. He won't like that. He will order Oscarlita to pound the bag with a stick. It could mean the end of the constant laugh track.

THAT would be quality entertainment. I might 'get it' if that happened.

Does anyone else think it is ridiculous that the entire show goes dark for a week while ONE of them moves?

I know it's his name on the show, but business-wise, I don't understand it.

The one axiom in podcasting is regular and consistent output.

Hilarious that their dark week occurs when Don begins. Perfect timing, TMOS.

It helps them avoid "apples to apples" comparisons in terms of the success of the shows, head-to-head.

If Don has a successful first week, all of the Mike idiots will claim they were only good because Mike was off the air. You can see this one coming a mile away.

Mike may have had some luck on this one, they were talking about the move date around the first of the year, and who would have thought Don would start podcasting the day after his CBS contract ran out?

The entire week off also gives them time to avoid commenting on it and time to decide what to say, if anything, when they come back.

Chad too, he had a tweet congratulating Don last week around the same time he was on the phone with Oscar on BOAD kissing up to Mike about not having a paid only podcast, I'm wondering which way he actually feels.

Any Real Estate guys around?

Don't you think Mike's "House sale" = "Foreclosure"?

The one thing I didn't understand is why he had a "punch list". Not something I would expect with a foreclosure.

When he mentioned the video to Carla, she said "so you don't want to settle on the house?" It's hard to tell with that since in a sale it would usually be referred to as closing instead of settling.

Now we get blamed by the chat room for someone contacting the FAA about Oscars business, they sent him an e-mail that he can't use his drone to make money without a commercial license to fly it.

They have no faith in the size of their audience and think someone here would care enough to report Oscar.

There is ZERO chance that this is a foreclosure. Zero. For God's sake, people. Ever heard "go to settlement" on a house sale? Yes, you have.

There's plenty of stuff to mock with LFF, his band of nitwits, his fans, the failcast, his talents as a restauranteur, father, golfer, athlete, motorcyclist, financier . . . but his house isn't getting foreclosed on.

You've finally made your case. That didn't take too long.

Where to start? The Sound of Music idea was Drunken Karaoke at the Quench Appearance all over again. A brain damaged entitled alcoholic bully derails an already bad idea with a reallllly bad idea. And because he does it mid-podcast no one can shut him down. Every time Fuckwaddle opened his mouth or Fat Rob chimed in I was thinking "NO! That idea sucks! Stop this now!"

Getting cops in uniform with cars involved? Like that's going to happen. Officer David Jerky already has one strike for getting himself shot in the ass in NYC during some kind of 4am drug/gay sex buy a few years back.

This was Fat Drunk Baby at his worst. He actually thought this was a good idea. And every time Fat Rob chimed in it got worse. So now they're each singing, holding hands, and the big finale is they run away. And they're in costume. Plus who looks better on camera than the TMOS team? THAT'S how you make a viral video. Earth to Fuckwaddle: a viral video is one people want to watch.

Mike O'Meara wouldn't know funny if it gave him a handjob.

The week off: probably a combination of things. Fuckwaddle's alcohol damaged brain somehow dimly realizes that the show is better when he's not there, as this writer has often said, and doesn't want anyone to catch on and he won't admit Fat Rob and Oscar could carry the show for five whole hours, an hour at a time. No Bonus Show that week for the suckerzzzzzz who paid for it.

You know what's jelly? Mike O'Meara's daughters' pussies.

Hi, TMOS fanclub! Kisses!

Don smokes weed!

Buck buck.

Just my two cents.

Rule #2 - make the video as a marketing ploy.

So fucking stupid when you see mom and pop shops try and do this. "Hey let's make a video here in the shop with some WACKY BITZ and let it go viral!"

I figured it was someone that had taken the time to get their license, and didn't want someone that hadn't cutting into their business. I mean with as many downloads as they say they get everyday it wouldn't be surprising if someone had gone through that process or actually works at the FAA and took it upon themselves to save Oscar some future headaches.

Right! Because out of the hundreds of FAA employees in DC, there's no chance that even ONE of them listens to TMOS OR Big O and Dukes. I mean, the FailCast IS getting close to that point, but I'm sure there are still a FEW listeners left.

Just getting around to listening to yesterdays show and caught this gem from sports fan O'Meara, "Make sure everyone knows who you are rooting for, it's down to the final 6". What??? I mean, I know he's a fraud and basically a loudmouth idiot but "the final 6"??? I can't think of a drama major, woman or small child who would make that blunder. But shocker, it wasn't his fault because he explains, "That's what I heard on the news". "I am blaming an anchor person on a news station that works for a chain that we used to work for". Oh, ok that explains it. Can't believe they didn't ask him to stick around when WJFK went all sports. And O'Meara had the nerve to tease Rob about his lack of basketball knowledge? What a hypocrite. I mean we all know that and I shouldn't continue to be amazed but fuck me runnin. Oh and then he goes on to ask Rob questions about the VCU team to prove what everyone already knows, that Rob is a nonsports fan. At least Rob doesn't say he is. (and don't mistake this as any defense of Rob who I believe is the worst person in the world)

Last Thursday, they had the AU-WI game on as they began the podcast. When the score was 17-13, LFF asked if the game was in the second period. OK, I get he's a hockey guy but then he said that he meant the second quarter. I think even Carla knows college basketball doesn't have quarters.

I can't wait to see how this all unfolds. Mike's bragging that he's gone a whole TWO MONTHS without drinking! I see a binge followed by a full-on Mike in the near future.

Without Robb and Oscar around to take out his anger on, he'll be screaming at Carla and cursing out his elderly neighbors.

We have also known that Don's contract ends Mar. 31 since he got flipped in Sacramento. So I think they are both using the time coincidence to their advantage.
As someone else already said they usually don't have a problem doing Rob & Oscar, or they could have done a couple prerecorded shows for the week(they've done 3 already this year). Say they did 2 prerecords, 2 Rob and Oscar to keep it timely, and a best of on Friday, a lot better than no content. But I don't make the decisions for them.

Agreed, and that could have been their thinking, although I can't make sense of it. I have no idea how much fire their bridges are on, but this would have been the perfect time for TMOS to be absorbing Don fans as well. I guess Don's doing well with the subscriptions, but imagine him phoning in an interview on TMOS that week, and/or getting Buzz back in studio to talk about his new venture? Mike might only have to do the one episode that Don's on, and they could get Mickey to fill in for Mike the rest of the week.

If Mike did stay on the whole week, he could also be responding and commenting day-to-day on the insider events Don's about to dish, and capture a lot of Don's listeners who want more content and might check in on Mike for nostalgia's sake.

I think the Don Mike bridge finished burning when Don started on WJFK again, they both said good luck to the other but neither called the other. Buzz broke the ice by making the call, if he and Mike could have worked together a little longer, we might have gotten what everyone dreamed about: a reunion.
I think it came down to this: Don has been a big fish for 20+ years, Mike became a big fish 5 years ago, and he wanted all along to accomplish this. At this point he couldn't stand being #2 again, I understand this because who wants to be demoted?

In all his career Don was the driver, he always will be. Mike always did better with guidance, recent example is the commercials, someone with some power finally told Mike to cut out the long drawn out attempts at humor, just do the live read and get it over with, then back to the content. Oscar seems to be trying to reign it all in, but he seems to think he needs Mike more than Mike needs him so he doesn't put his foot down enough, example: the first day in the new studio they removed the sound panels from the windows even though it degraded the sound and the video.

Mike just wouldn't ever go back to letting Don control a show he was involved in because it's hard to give up control. TMOS can be 100% better if Oscar(he actually seems to understand the business they are in) slowly drags Mike around to a proper format and actually giving his audience what they want.
Don has said the first week will be about KHTK. He will get around to Mike eventually, I have a feeling there will be a phone call made from Florida to Sacramento, Leesburg is probably more likely just to try to soften the blow when it finally comes around.

Mike thinks they can recreate the opening to TSOM in about an hour using a flying camera that Oscar can barely operate. I think the drone has a 20-minute power supply. Unless Oscar can program a flight plan into that drone ahead of time, I see a frustrating afternoon in their future.

A simpler parody would be recreating Kirk's "KHAN!" shout from The Wrath of Khan.

in the setup, Oscar tells Mike that Don is beating him in podcast ratings, and Mike would shake his fist skyward, yelling "DON!!!" as the drone pulls back (upward) and the camera rotates.

Totally off topic but I've been holding on to another video until I had all the information I needed. it's only about 20 seconds, but it shows a truck passing me in a no passing zone.

What I found out when I got home was horrible.http://youtu.be/BCEYNicYR0s

If you can share this with people you know, it's just a reminder to be careful on the roads, because you never know who is on the road with you.

OK back to Mike, his audience would explode if he can bring himself to make that phone call. Carolla, Maron, and Rogan all bring other podcasters in for cross-promotion, he needs to learn this would work. Don would never make the phone call, mainly, I think because of the comments about Bart after Freda's death, even with an apology, that is something hard to forgive.

If you are truly trying to detox, 2 months is a mere nothing. I've given up drinking for Lent, more than once. How long do you think that lasted?
Some sources I've seen say that it can take 12-18 months for your brain chemistry to reset after cessation of alcohol, or even longer, before you can get back to a somewhat normal state. 2 months is a temporary nothing. Forget about it--Mike will, soon enough.

I envision an arrest after a Full Mike episode in one of the local Florida bars, he doesn't know any cops down there and no one cares who he used to be. Lonely and 1000 miles from all his friends, where will he turn?

Another glimpse into Sycophant Robb: LFF was bitching, somewhat reasonably, about friends dropping in unannounced last weekend at the aught 3 Victorian. Robb, with no trace of sarcasm, asked LFF if he was not partly to blame because "you are so entertaining."

Does that mean that LFF will become "Florida Man"?

As in, "Florida Man found passed out in vat of beer."

As in, "Florida Man's ass becomes wedged into motorcyle seat."

Kinda sad that the Rob and Joe show is buried in that TMOS website.
Filed under "Media" with all the other shows. Horrible site design. You'd have no idea there are other shows besides TMOS. They give more real estate to spring break 2013 and O'Meara Con 2013 than other current shows. What a mess.

Mike, doing his introductory spiel, makes an aside to Patton: "Guess what state our one affiliate is in?"

Patton: "Ahhhhhh....I was talking to Robb earlier, and he told me..."

Yup. Huge fan, Patton is.

Has Mike turned the impressions up to 11? He really seems to be doing more of those, based on the extremely limited times I've listened lately.

Patton didn't even know they did commercials. He clearly tapped out of TMOS a long time ago.

And did Mike just do BANE?!

I am stoked that they're talking about Bill Hicks. Bill Hicks is legendary, as far as I'm concerned. The fact that Mike respects Bill makes it hard(er) to dislike him as much.

Of course Ustream picks right then to shit the bed. I do want to hear what Patton has to say about Bill, so I'll get the podcast later...but wow Ustream just exploded.

Patton seems to be able to control Mike, when he talks he won't let them interrupt much. I think Mike realizes Patton is a much bigger star, and Patton cuts off Mike's monologues and answers the actual question instead of letting Mike bury a question in 15 minutes of "comedy".

Yep, so very kind. That Moleboy always tries to start that crap in there, but like here I just ask for examples of anything he accuses me of and he shuts up.

He asked me if I was going to the book party, I said I might. then he stated "so you can report right?" my response "Why are you going to claim that something that happened didn't? this is real life, you can't delete it." He didn't talk to me again for a week or so.

I loved how patton thought they were going to an actual commercial break and took off his headphones and started talking like it would be on a real radio show.

He lays back a lot more in the studio, Mike is in the corner and sits up, it might be an optical illusion. If he is bigger than Mike, he's got some serious health issues headed his way.

I think Mike was a little scared of Patton, he actually let him answer questions and didn't interrupt, like he usually does with a guest. It was a much better guest appearance than normal. That bar isn't to high though.

Patton picked up the show today, put it squarely on his back, and took it to the land of non-suck for once.

It helps that I'm a fan of Patton though. Robbbbbbb laughing added nothing and was annoying. I think it's clear Mike busted out the impressions because that's what Patton likes.

Didn't listen, but there are more laughs in 5 minutes of Patton Oswalt than in 5 years of the failcast. Patton's amazing.

Next question: How many consecutive shows, after today, will LFF bring up Patton Oswalt? "My close friend Patton . . . "

That is the end of the list of celebs who grew up in this area listening to D&M and therefore are willing to come on the podcast. So, after a decent show due solely to the guest, tomorrow when the boys are left on their own to dazzle us with their creativity, prep, and comedy, we will have ... the birthday segment!

Moments that are funny for failcast listeners are when Patton volunteers that those who hate millennials (hi, Mike) are just baby boomers who are aging poorly (hi, Mike) and then (prompted by Oscar) jokes about people who eat in bed (hi, Mike).
