Nah, I got this. I totally won't pus out.

If it is a clip thing, I have a plan of action that I've bounced off another FFXU poster. I don't think it'll be a clip thing. But, if it is, no worries, it is covered.

If it is an interview between Certa and myself, trust me, I've spent 20 years talking to people, I've got this. And, I've bounced the plan off Bubbyman.

If it is something else... :)

Worst case scenario is that "they" shut me down and don't let me speak. I have an ace in the hole for that.

Likely, I'll get taken to task for my posts here. With a couple of exceptions, I offer constructive criticism or I question things that are unclear.

Best case is I'll get to be the voice of FFXU for a few minutes.

9 hrs 19 mins for page 410, almost as fast as the previous record of 8hrs 49mins it took for the page about Mike bashing Certa around. Pretty good considering there was no real controversy on the show today.

Edit here: The previous record is my personal opinion since I've not read the time stamps on every page in this thread. If you know different, let me know.

Look at LFF's ring. Dear god, if he breaks his hand, that will have to be cut off. Look at the fat bunching around that knuckle.

LPS's wears tux shirts with his initials embroidered. What a cunt. How much of his wife's money did he spend on that?

The shirt must have been a hand-me-down from dad because there's no "II" on it.

So, I'm confused about the cross promotion stuff.

Sure, after reading the book, I understand that they are a band of chuckleheaded idiots, but even somebody as dumb as the LFF must know:

1) Order some books to sell at your bar book signing

2) Put an iPhone across the studio and facetime to ustream your junkies / GDDC appearances

3) Give a run down of the products you offer each time you have some spotlight: TMOS is the worst podcast on the tube, C&C is fuck all I don't know since I haven't listened to it, Tech 411 isn't that on BOAD's network?, etc

How difficult is that?

Does anybody have show numbers for:
1) Suitcase throwing
2) Oscar smashing Kara's laptop

I've been thinking about writing an article for Jezbel (I know an editor there). TMOS thinks FFXU is bad, let them deal with Jezbel's readers for awhile after they hear some guys laughing about throwing a suitcase at a knocked up wife and some guy terrorizing his girlfriend by smashing her things. #rapeculture

I don't think TMOS would play well over there...

Pretty far though. Some shadows and motion blur adding to the perceived hair perhaps.

Someone else can back me up on this, but I swear that was actually a bonus show. I'll do a little digging and see what I can find.

Also, throwing the feminazis of Jezbel at TMOS is almost cruel. I love it.

Ok I finally had the chance to watch the Fox morning zoo show.

1. Mike's tapered-leg mom jeans are ridic. I mean, I found myself staring at those pant legs in disbelief.

2. Robb was awkward the microsecond he stepped into the camera frame. He does this weird thing where he moves his mouth as if he is speaking when others are speaking but he's not saying anything? Like an odd low-volume mumble of sorts?

3. Robb's fucking casual sex joke and the screeching halt that followed. The shot heard 'round the FFXU Universe. Not much I can say that hasn't already been covered, and to type it out would just conjur up the feelings of rage I have toward Robb and his insane hyperactive class-clown-who-nobody-likes over-the-top annoying personality.

4. Mike's gained a significant amount of weight. In terms of sobriety and early recovery, do what you gotta do to stay clean, but at some point make sure to tackle the food replacement stuff.

5. Now I remembered why I hate FOX and never watch it. It's like high school video productions class. Amateur hour in the video lab.

6. How old is that weather guy? 16? What a low rent network.

7. That fucking book cover!

8. And finally, immediately following Robb's slamming of the breaks on the entire production with that horrifically bad overly practices casual sex joke, Mike defaults to "INCIDENTALLY..." to get things back on track. You can't make this shit up!

Certa won't bother to research your posts. He might farm it out to Merle or Willy J, tho. One thing he will likely try is to tar you and FFXU with the worst posts on here. Easy to parry. You are easily doing more prep for this spot than LFF has done in the last 5 years for the show carrying his name. A smart podcaster would kill for listeners like this, regardless of their criticisms.

Yeah, just as we demonstrate here, be ready to point out that the legitimate constructive (albeit frustrated) criticism stands while we do a pretty good job of self-policing the "BBC" "Freda's Corpse" and Elmo garbage.

Maybe juxtapose it with the damaging blind allegiance of the stupid fan Klub and how they'll readily eat their own while we welcome open dialog, vast differences of opinions, and varying degrees of hatred for LFF. In reality, most of us want to like the LFF show and are simply frustrated and let down former fans.

Irony: Today, Spewak accused BDK of doing exactly that to shows early in his career. Seems one of them listened to criticism, and worked hard to improve. One didn't.

You have two things in common with Mike. You're both liars and fucking stupid. To start the day, you replied to fansince and called his post pathetic and you were an overall angry little douche when all he did was disagree with a post you made. Then you responded to lolscar and again was an angry little douche trying to pick a fight. That one was because he said Mike admitted to dying his (Oooh the fucking horror!!). That's TWO fights you tried to pick in a couple hours. You also had a few people on the BOAD thread call you out for being a little faggot. Ever wonder why so many people fucking hate you? You are the typical old poster that posted here before the new wave of more moderate, more normal humans found their way here. You are the poster that gives Mike ammunition when he says everyone that posts here is hateful and a loser. He is directly talking to you. So long story short, fuck you, you whiny, annoying, OCD piece of shit.

Constructive criticism of TMOS: it could do more in the way of advocating for a good cause. How about weighing in (hi Mike) on teen pregnancy? Studies show children of teen parents are significantly more at risk of morbid obesity as adults. We know HBS was 18 at his celebrity son's conception. How young was HBS Jr.'s mother?

So Mike told the Junkies that they are staying at a rental property and that he had to check in with the "landlord". The way that he said it certainly made it sound like he was rented a place rather than staying at his own/family's place. I was confused, then heard BOAD and it confirmed what I knew.

More seemingly purposely inconsistencies. I have to echo other people's earlier thoughts...he does this slight story shifting too much and in such specific circumstances that it can't be in accident. He's gotten better about it, but has roared back with the weird boat narrative and then the phantom rented house in Maine.

Somebody else said something like this back when I was lurking:

Mike, we listen to the show. We only know what you tell us. And when the story you've laid out to the audience changes midstream, any daily listener with a brain/memory will wonder why they were misled. Not calling you a liar, but it's weird.

Funny stuff. FFXU easily provides 2-3 good laughs every day. TMOS? Not so much. Come to think, FFXU may be the only reason I still listen to TMOS, to fully appreciate the references.

So, jhopkins, another good thing about FFXU: it adds to TMOS downloads. Who cares why we listen? We listen. Not all of us here, clearly, but more than would otherwise. Bottom line, we add to LFF's.

Oh shut up. You can't speak for anyone on this board because you're clearly not a regular. Ok, so peekza got a little snippy with LOLscar. So what. These little snips happen between the regulars all the time. It adds to the enjoyment of the thread.

Good point. I tend to think the "shifting" is just a by-product of this sort of show.
I love Don, but he is just as much, if not more guilty of this.
They all just blather so much, sometimes the facts just get in the way of a story.

The changing your story a bit is a huge trait of substance abusers. It gives wiggle room.

If you are vague and change little things about a story, it let's you have escape routes when you get caught.

I love it when people call me names and accuse ME of trying to pick fights...If you don't like my posts, find a new thread pal, because you are the one who comes off like a whiny little bitch here...and BTW , in both of your examples, I was responding to snarky comments...So there's that as well

And your example of Don doing this is what? Just one.

I would hit Fat Rob's mom, dad looks like he's already checked out. I would insist that the baby be in the room.

Mike still makes fun of himself. Somebody claimed otherwise...he tell plenty of self-depreciating jokes per episode.

It's just that his gang knee jerk reacts to support him in most areas. You're not racist. You're not rude. You're so right. They've gotten better about being autonomous men lately though.

Part of it may be intentional or at least semi-intentional, but given LFF's history of not following a conversation more than three sentences back I'm not at all surprised he can't even keep track of his own stories.

These are fairly frequent mischaracterizations of key story points. I might have posted about this year's ago. One time I heard him say something that didn't jibe with what I thought I had heard earlier, and assumed I had misheard. Then a few shows or weeks later he rolled out a third version. Damn...I wish I could remember what it was.

I've been talking about "Evasive Mike" for years. He usually comes out for absolutely no reason. Boat, car, family house, move, absences, etc.

Yeah....the center console boat is a good example...First, it was a friend's, then he was renting it, now it is his...I think he is ashamed of talking about his toys moments after he has openly begged for his sheeple to buy 20 books...Anyone else catch the try harder he squeezed in yesterday when talking about the book sales?

No, they begged people to utilize their sponsor who was paying for the trip. I think it was the insurance company?

Oncor paid for the RV, but they solicited "donations" for the gas $...They had a little graphic of a gas gauge that moved closer to full as the donations rose

This week Mike lectured everyone on giving cemeteries the respect they were due. Does that just apply to military cemeteries?

I could have sworn that a few weeks ago, Mike suggested that they record their Sound of Music video in a Georgetown cemetery.

How did that video turn out? They said they could knock it out in under an hour.

Can't wait to see it.

Maybe they decided to make it a Gabe Strine animation instead.

BTW, did Gabe get a mention in the book?
