Then Mike turned the thermostat down too low on an outdoor freezer where they were keeping bottled drinks, and some bottles exploded -- so he told intern Rob to clean it up.
Rob might as well get a job as a housekeeper.

Anyone else notice that every time the meet and greet was brought up, Mike would mention how long he was planning on staying? It was announced that the M&G would run from 6-8 and Mr. Try Harder would start saying he was going to bail in 45 minutes or something of the sort...Oscar and Rob would always have to guilt him into comiting to the entire announced time...Does he not realize that the fans who show up to these things are the very people he repeatedly bleeds dry when there is a chance to beg for baby presents or gas money or 10 or 20 extra books to be bought? Or does he just not care?

A little of both peekza, I think he doesn't care as long as the Faithful keeps paying his bills. He's stupid because he doesn't realize that his not "Trying Harder." is what is going to end his income stream in the end. Anyone else hear the reference to boarding his boat hurting him today? He never told the story, but it sounded like the shoulder roll may have gotten him.

Apparently, Mike hurt himself getting into or out of his center console...Oscar mentioned Mike's technique of shoulder rolling...Obviously, he misspoke,because Mike couldn't do a shoulder roll...But it does make me wonder if Mike gets his arms above the gunwale and just tries to hurl a leg over and let gravity do the rest, kind of like when they get a big gator on Swamp People...Any other theories?

Somebody made a post about the LFF's not understanding of social media and not having a sales department.
I think that is right on the money.
Things where the LFF bails on an appearance quickly are old radio mindsets, where a handler exists to smooth things over. The more I think about it, I bet the pitch to Ronic was:
1) you were an intern at a radio station you know how it works
2) the sales staff has a high turn over rate and any monkey can do their job
3) therefore Ronic with a sales staff of 1 and no support and no track record, you should be able to sell the shit out of this podcast
I'm a tech guy and the times I've done start ups, I'll hear an argument that goes:
Engineering: with out us, there wouldn't be anything to sell
Sales: we bring in the $ and talk to the people buying it, do what we say
Usually, if you give the sales person what they need, they can sell it. And in my experience it is easier to find a good engineer than it is to find a good sales person

I met her a little over a year ago, and she's tall-ish, but really no more than 5'8" - 5'10" at most, although I can't recall footwear. For not being athletic, she's pretty "normal" all around. She was nice and had a professional/mature vibe. Handled the kids perfectly. I came away liking and respecting her.
