I heard Don say that ("biggest check") to Adam Carolla. It was on one of their smart DGS best of podcasts you can probably still get on iTunes. Also, the Washington Post has reported on his salary before. I remember 800 or 900k from that old article when he was arrested. The 2 million dollar figure came from somewhere (not here), but I can't recall.

Even if you count the show that Don negotiated for Mike/Buzz/Robbbb, that's still only one....and it's been how long since TMOS got fired? I heard both Donni and RELM’s responses. I tend to lean to Doni. RELM sounded like a 1940’s radio script. I think the contract was written by a monkey. RELM talks about 18 shows. But, how many downloads? I will not pay for Doni’s podcast although I do pay for extra TMOS and BOAD. They do mostly free shows that I really like so I want the extra content until Mike gets political. And, their quality is good. RELM talked up how good Doni’s numbers were until they slammed him. They talked high road but check their twitters. I think RELM is barely breaking even. And, we all know Marc is not the best business guy. (How many T shirts were in Mike’s attic when he moved?) Marc has always dreamed of being a “Radio Guy”. At least Lowell has a solid TV gig and Buzz has Marcia. I would check those books boys. This is all Mark has to pay the bills. Finally, it is all on Doni now. The money, stream, paying Drew, etc. The first free show sounded awful. Now, he can just look in the mirror and yell at management and the engineers.

I didn't register for a long time (3 years) because generally I didn't care that much.
The jhop and jhopX posts that were made were funny to me (and my friends), which means I pissed somebody off. Yes, I know who that was. Not somebody from the krew.

I was thinking more about the Kappy relationship and I'm more interested in the inception.
It is one thing if Kappy came out to a D&M live show and they hit it off and she helped TMOS in order to keep a show she likes around.

And somehow, Fat Rob messed up his iPads again last week and had to play his shitstain youtube clips some other way. So let me get this straight. Don signs a contract with RELM. Both promise to listeners they will get x-amount of programming for x-amount of dollars. Don and RELM have a falling out. RELM doesn't refund the money and Don can't deliver on the quality or quantity of programming promised. Sounds to me like a job for "legal console." At the very least going to DCRTV, local press and RELM advertisers and shame those involved to "get over their fucking selves" and make things right for the subscribers. As a wise man once said, "This is bullshit!"

To be honest, I saw the problems everyone was having with the stream the first couple days and I haven't signed up yet, I have 9 months coming but I'm waiting until most of the bugs get worked out. The craziest thing Don Is worried about is people sharing their downloads, hell if I can play it or steam it, on my phone or computer, I'll have a mp3 of it, so all this work to protect downloads is pretty useless. I won't share my downloads, just like I didn't before and neither will 99% of his subs, so I don't see why he's so worried, reminds me of the early internet days when CBS was worried about pirating D&M. From what I've heard, the sound quality is much better now.
As far as RELM is concerned, they took my money, they should give it back, regardless of whether I'm paying for DGS now or not, their main argument is that if you are getting the show, you shouldn't complain. Well in not getting the show right now. I'm thinking about sending an explanation of the situation to WBAL, that might provide some incentive through Lowell to push RELM to refund my money.

rob is really the thing that makes listening to TMOS almost intolerable. he can't keep his pie-hole shut for more than about 30 seconds. even if it's not even WORDS, he's ALWAYS gotta be heard. and, it's DEFINITELY gotten worse.

He's doing hours of content a day - it's not so valuable that it needs insane sharing protection. Again, Tom Leykis does three or four hours with a free stream and paid archive and downloading access. He knows that hour one of April 18, 2013 isn't exactly the same as Sgt. Pepper, from a value/sharing perspective.
I got the same read from his 9/5 podcast - he was likely asking for uncommon security on this stuff. It sounded like RELM had no security, to be fair, but this may get ridiculous.

Not excited to hear Robb on Perkins' show. I've already imagines him screwing up the chemistry. By the way, Oscar fits in great on that show. Frankly sounds more comfortable than on TMOS or podcast era BOAD.

He has been called on it. Oscar has occasionally lamented that he can't get a sentence out, even during an Oscar's World segment. Mike has yelled at him for interrupting for legitimate and "petulant Mike" reasons. But it is very rare.
