The one where Mike got extremely drunk and racial?

In a nutshell, Mike got so drunk at the "after party" that he tried to get into a fight(shocker right?) with a bunch of REAL bikers(not the fat pantloads who call Harleys scooters). Mike had to be escorted out of the bar and back to his hotel room and in the process, got particularly racial with JB...Buy JB a round or two and you'll get the story

The big event at the Circus Circus is right around the corner. The klubbers cannot wait to see the gang and especially Robb Spewak. Does anyone have any idea what Robb is going to wear to the event? I could see him wearing so many different outfits. I think a tuxedo or a suit maybe too predictable. I could see him wearing jeans and a music shirt. Maybe he will wear a Run DMC, NWA, the Beatles, or a Moody Blues shirt.
I know it is a stretch, but I could see him wearing a Renaissance or one of the silly Civil War costumes to the standing room only event.

I can't actually distinguish which it was at this point, but it was one of those things where they never came right out and said what happened, but the inferences were clear ... like #shuttergate.

Can't prove causation, but the correlations abounded. JB disaffiliated with the show, Mike never wanted to speak of it again, he "went too far," he picked a fight, there were damages, and there has not been a Big Duff since.

That pretty much says it all. If you put out a pie, he'll eat the whole thing, and blame genetics, or the maker of the pie, or anyone but himself.

Some poster here claims that if you buy JB some drinks, you'll get the story from JB, which leads me to believe that said poster has done this and knows the story.

My suggestion is to stop being coy and just post the fucking story here and let FFXU judge if the poster is full of shit or not.

Plus, it'll give us something to talk about for awhile here...

Why has no one brought up Carla's "time will tell" retort to Mike last week? I thought that was a very interesting response to what he said and showed the handwriting on the wall. Am I making too much of it. Also, the whole conversation took place while he had the snoring machine on his head. That had to be a fetching look.

Once again, Peekza is proclaiming his little theories that he's built over the years as facts. Peekza, please enlighten us and explain how you know for a fact what happened? You were very detailed too. Pretty impressive to infer all that from Mike saying there was "a situation at the big duff that might've gotten violent".

There's a lot of smoke, especially with regard to the initial incident. The Jabarie disappearance is particularly questionable - it always seemed like one day he was there, then the next he was gone. He has a podcast from that week. Maybe I'll listen for more details.

Nah...he's fucked out that combo too...He likes to play the same songs with the same intro if there is a "clever" connection...You can tell in the video when he is particularly impressed with his handiwork...

He just plays other people's work found on YouTube.

The opening vignettes are rarely funny, even less so when they're the fake phone calls. But you know what's the opposite of funny? PRETENDING YOU HAVE PHONE ISSUES DURING THE FAKE PHONE CALLS.

Insisting that the fake phone ring four times before answering? NOT FUNNY.

Having to talk to the "assistant" before talking to the fake guest? NOT FUNNY.

Calling back to "different departments" multiple times? NOT FUNNY.

Jesus Christ, it's the fucking dictionary definition of wasting time, with Blobb cackling hysterically for the whole so-called bit. The planned bit will probably suck anyway, but for fuck's sake, JUST GET ON WITH IT WITHOUT THE IDIOTIC UNFUNNY LEAD-IN.

Yes-huh! Taking a not-funny thing and beating it into the ground (weekly) makes it funny! Don't you understand? You don't get it, man!

I love it when the LFF accuses the other two of not sending stuff to him in FL from listeners. Just what they need in his neighborhood..a WalMart. Property values will plummet. He thinks he has it bad now? Just wait until the first rotten toothed hillbilly empties his black water tank from the RV in the canal. Another thing on my mind is Reno. I'mso sick of the constant shilling. I still can't believe the listeners paid for Certa. I can't wait until hisjob sends him here for their fund raiser. Hey Omeara its called Prune juice and plenty of it. Allbran cereal can help to9. Enough!

This * 100. Every time Fatt Rob opens the show, you know it's going to be a sad/terrible LFF lame impression phone in. Also, you know there are going to be 2-6 minutes of rotary phone sound effects and fake hang ups. With the opening topic being the ebola quarantine, you know 3 seconds in that they're going to eventually call Charly. The only people who are going to find this mildly amusing are Don and Mike Show fans from 15 years ago who are also over 50 and brain damaged.

The opening vignettes have always been unlistenable. I always assumed when the LFF spoke about show prep, it was him writing these "things".

They are simply unfunny and dumb.

You know, I'm really enjoying O5car lately. It seems he must've decided not to let LFF and Headdd just talk nonsensical bullshit, especially about themselves. There have been a number of recent examples, but the latest was yesterday. LFF complaining about being stopped up, and talking about how healthy he's been eating (1 meal, or 1 day is all) and O5car replied "what about the 3 helpings of Hamburger Helper?"

Look, without somebody calling LFF on his bullshit (so that leaves Rob(b) out), the failcast is just a dumber, fatter, version of the Jack Diamond show. Oscar's got to be the guy who calls out LFF's nonsense. It's a fine line, because LFF doesn't quite believe he's really a fat drunk with a crappy temper, it's just kind of a joke, but that's the only way the show even semi-works.

It was bizarre. It's like Mike said one day that he wanted to be the best sounding podcast, then just started saying that they were. Without listening to another podcast. They sound great now, when Mike remembers to be a professional and speak into his mic.

Well sure, but for a long time O5car either didn't care or was just completely disengaged, and didn't hear the bullshit. I'm just saying the quality is up now that he's calling LFF on it.

Love reading the thread here, as I agree with much of it. I'm still a daily listener, but I'm also a podcast junkie in general. Occasionally, I think some of the regulars here go over the line, but I definitely get where you're coming from.

That said, has anyone else been as annoyed as me that Mike keeps saying "McGONaughey" instead of "McConaughey." Robb and Oscar even corrected him last week sometime and he's said it at least a couple more this week. Maybe it's just me...

To be fair, "Dunnivan" is how "Donovan" is pronounced in New England...it's just the accent.

But Louis CK annoys the crap out of me...
