You're right. And the only value to a podcast is that it's live. We can replay old episodes ourselves anytime we want. Mike should get that in his head and either do a show or not, we're fine either. Don't act like an hour and 20 a day is a big gift

When 'Just a Little Fun' starts to post about how you finally "get it" you won't underestimate Mike's tracking cookies.

That's ok, those who get it have no credibility here, and the only cookies Mike knows about have chocolate chips in them.

"Mike's Tracking Cookies"

Definition
----------

This phrase refers to the many hunks of dropped treats that miss Mike's mouth as he is walking around the house.

They usually lead directly to his lounge chair, where he is found asleep, ignoring the needs of his wife and child.

They disappear often, though, as Mike has been known to backtrack his path and eat the tracking cookies.

Yeah, some krewe douche (redundant, I know) is fond of registering the names of the people here.

The trick is to not give a shit. Let them feel like they're accomplishing something.

After listening, it now makes sense....They ran current ads in their Best Of, so it counts against their ad quota for this buy

Well, it's not like they could get on here and defend the show.

Omeara flies up to enjoy a day at the bar and that's enough of a burden he can't post a live show. The event itself drew several family members and I doubt they recorded any exciting snippets.

On the plus side Carla got to wear tight jeans and pretend she didn't know any of guys from the show.

it was a good example of what is really wrong with TMOS...Oscar has to stop an interesting story so they can break for KCJJ and then in the middle of it, out of NOWHERE, Mike interjects his fish story, and then Oscar just plows ahead after the interruption unfazed, Robb asking stupid fucking questions the whole time....The best part, NOBODY acknowledged Mike's shout for attention

I have it on good authority that the boys recorded a very special bonus show while Mike was in town. Look for it next time.

I wonder if Shari is her nom de plume? Either that, or she's trying to distance herself from the train-wreck that is now The Mike O'Meara Show.

I wonder if Mike and BA hooked up in the D&M days. She was a single mom at the time Mike was breaking up with his second wife. They always seemed to have some weird chemistry between them. Then she leaves and, despite Don's warnings, Mike brings her back. Just wondering.

BA has been pretty much Asexual since the birth of her daughter...Oh sure, she'd flick the bean while looking at the mirror, but she hasn't had sex in a while...She was dating a gay guy last time Don talked to her

Anyone else notice that he always disappears once he embarrasses himself? He always goes MIA for a couple of days and then starts posting again like nothing even happened. Where are you JHops? Too embarrassed to post?

Yeah, that was covered on one of Don's first podcasts. He called and chatted with BA a few times to see what she was up to.

Hello everyone. If you want to witness Peekza getting his ass kicked, come on out to the FairLakes Whole Foods this Saturday at 2 pm. He's agreed to fight me in the parking lot. Hopefully, he'll show up, and then we won't have to hear from him while he recovers in the hospital.

My God, you're a fucking moron. Really? This is what it's come to? A Rumble For The Arugula in the fucking Whole Foods parking lot? What time's your mom picking you up afterward?

This is the internet. You might want to calm it down a little.

Just started today's show, and it's 82 minutes long. Those fucking rebels! Will they send an edited version to Iowa? Will there be 3 minutes of fantastic added content? I'm so excited.

They are starting with Cameron Hughes and Sodastream ads... does Iowa get these?

Huh? They do a live event, attend a funeral, Mike comes back to DC and they come up with 2 minutes of extra content? Was it at least a good show? Is it 2 mins of extra adds?

Only 20 minutes in, so I'm not sure. The current 'highlight' is that O5car was swinging a shirt over his head, and hit someone they referred to as "Suge Knight". I'm sure hilarity ensued, because Headdd is cackling.

"Suge Knight" Sure. Just like Mike used to do that awful Tracy Morgan imitation to lampoon a lady that served him pancakes. Mike loves to bust Robb but he's stunningly racist a lot of the time.

In a shocking turn of events, LFF complains about the announcements before and during his flight (and is racist again because the flight attendant is "from another land" or some similar phrase). And farts on the plane and tries to blame it on his son. But he's never farted on a plane before. This was the first time.

I think the extra minutes must be the double ads (Doppel Ads!) before the opening. That's classy. Just keep cramming them in. At least they're easy to skip.

To combat the sinking revenues, instead of creating better content, they create more ads.

I think oscar footed the bill with the idea of creating a podcast facility not only for himself, but to rent out to other shows for their creation.

Not sure if TMOS pays "rent".

It hasn't worked out.

So please explain how you though your post was funny or clever. You can't just say the opposite of what someone said and think it's clever.

Riot said he posted on a Chad Dukes thread and you quoted a Lurch thread. If you would've actually looked at a Chad Dukes thread you would've seen JHops registered account making the post Riot was talking about.

Again, it was strange that there weren't posters of sings or anything. It was just like TMOS was having a night out.

From what I saw only a few people came up to their table. Totally wasn't a "TMOS Event".

Sure, when some guy has his family around him, that is totally cowardly to not go up to him and tell him he failed at radio and is lame.

The krew was just out for a night of fun with their families.

Yes, because missing a tiny typo like "though" instead of "thought" ruins a thread. You must be JHops with that level of thinking.

I stand by my usage of that instead of who when referencing JHops. He's definitely a "that".

According to your thinking, no one can call a moron a moron if they've ever made small typos in Internet posts. Makes sense..

So Mike likes to say how they keep things real on the show and lay it all out there, yet when Pony says his grandfather and aunt are dying they jump down his throat for being a show killer. Really nice and compassionate of them. Mike can still get all verklempt when talking about his dad who died decades ago, but Pony is a buzz kill who might chase away there last few listeners by mentioning his grandfather who is in terrible shape. That was just effed up.

And the Super Bowl is a big enough event to justify flying the whole family up from FL to sit in a bar in DC and watch, yet Mike is baffled at how the game could be the highest watched TV event ever. That game is considered one of the best SBs ever, but Mike just didn't see it that way. Yeah, he's really a knowledgable sports fan. SMH

Given Mike is such a Boston and Red Sox homer, you'd think he would be elated his hometown team won. I mean, he flew to VA to watch the game, so he must be a fan, right? Boston Strong, anyone?

Amen on both points. Mike will cry bout a buttzit and his treatment in the hospital but when Pony, after a direct question, mentions some real life problems he's lectured about killing the show. We can't all entertain and inspire like O'Meara, the man who after flying to DC, attending funeral and flying back, told a riveting story about cutting a fart.

Yeah, I'm an Oscar guy but his live-read at the start of the show was abysmal as well.

After listening today does O'Meara strike anyone else as is racist? "Suge Knight" and the panicky laughs afterward; racist. Doing an imitation of the Lady at IHop as Tracy Morgan; racist. The painful imitation of the announcements on the airline; clearly racist, just like his stock bit about the DC metro-line. The voice Mike does is a black caricature, virtually the same as his Marion Barry.

O'Meara mentions that after Oscar bumped into "Suge Knight" he began to watch Santana's back because he was worried about "these two gentlemen who ..ya know..it was interesting to seeing THEM in Herndon". Then one said (supposedly) "I don't care about that, I'll go back to the penitentiary". O'Meara continues"That's when I was riveted and thinking, please, please leave..you're frightening the regulars."

Sure, the regulars. I think it bugs me because unlike Don G or maybe a Jim Norton, O'Meara will do anything he can to avoid mentioning color. Neither honest or funny.

Mike flew to VA to drink and eat at his friend's expense. And the airfare came out of TMOS funds (money well-spent!). Storage Wars could have been on the TV at JOTT for all those three assclowns know about and care about football.

If they continue this, just skip the first two minutes -- just like I do with Don. I don't need a song and that awful redneck song he plays.

Nice work Shrekky, some of your finest yet. You keep raising the bar, BRAVO!

Oh and to the genius who registered George Jones, I am also Mr Helper, Hi Marc,(yeah I was the guy calling out Marc for being Iron Log), Hey Dickhead, Jealous Much, Robb Stein, and many others. See, a funny poster name is sometimes part of the joke. You just don't get it. Try Harder!

Brilliant work, boys, to add 2 minutes to the show, and fill that time with terrible ad reads. Pure genius. You are all on your way to living in Manhattan penthouse apartments.

Grrrr. Headdd had been staying away from Beatles (and McCartney) for the most part on the show, but today he again went to the fucking Silly Love Songs, easily the worst of Paul's hits. It gives me fucking diabetes.

So Rob(b) and Oscar chipped in 2/3rds for Mike and Carla's flight to DC so Mike could get $100 in free beer and food? You don't need an MBA to know that's fucking stupid.

A sure sign of imminent failure are the double ads. (dopple!)

Oscar, I'm sure this would be regarded as a case study in "What to avoid" in your textbooks.

You guys are doing it wrong.

Did Rob refer to his grandfather as Big Daddy because his real Daddy was a ghost during his childhood? Poor little Rob Jr.
