Welcome to Fairfax Underground, a project site designed to improve communication among residents of Fairfax County, VA. Feel free to post anything Northern Virginia residents would find interesting.
That photo was from back when Mike at least pretended to give a shit about fans. Now, when he promotes an appearance, he's angry that they show up. Psycho.
Waking up, eating, watching Today and inspecting weird new shit growing on your body do not constitute "show prep." If people wanted to hear old men bitch about their maladies, retirement homes would be selling tickets to the general public.

I had never listened to BOAD before yesterday when I skimmed a few shows. Certainly better than TMOS, more relaxed conversation and no pretense of it being a radio show. And less thin skin on the part of the regulars. That said, it’s so fucking annoying to hear Oscar laugh uproariously for Chad the same way he does for LFF. It’s like a Pavlovian response for him: “the big guy said something that’s remotely funny so now I have to sell it by guffawing like a hyena.” He doesn’t laugh like that when others on the BOAD show say something funny. This was very noticeable on a couple of shows in which Dukes was missing. It’s definitely a kiss-ass laugh that only LFF and Dukes are “worthy” of receiving. As annoying as LPS’s laughs for LFF. Ok, ALMOST as annoying.
It's clear after today's high-larious vignette that I am just like a battered wife.
You think they hit rock bottom, and they bring out pick axes and shovels and dig a little deeper. Three terrible voices from LFF, a "bit" completely devoid of anything approaching humor, despite the incessant cackling by Headdd and the undercurrent of giggling from O5car and Pony. Do they blow a joint before the show to get through it these days?

Just listened to Friday's show. He made the same claim of being a "musician" when he was able to guess that WHO baseline. Also notable on that show was the vitriol (I love that word now) he hurled at Jimmy Fallon for being untalented and doing a show that LFF himself figures could easily reproduce. He then says that he knows that "the haters" will "hate on him" for his opinion. What a spoiled, thin skinned son of a bitch. He (or the klubbers) can't handle the slightest criticism but that doesn't stop him from torching others. His advice to us here is always, don't listen. Maybe he should try that. I can hear his mother saying, "Mikey, if the other boys upset you maybe you should just stay home with me, we'll make cookies".
The Robb and Mike Show: because it takes a rare talent to give away your product for free and still leave the listeners feeling like they have been ripped off.

Looks like Headdd stomped away sobbing after the guy who started the thread wouldn't back off and become supplicant. Looks like a more interesting thread without him.

Unfortunately The Hawaii Photos Were Lost On One Of The Internets; Or Possibly In A Cloud.
Going Back In Oct. Will Make Sure To Save Some Photos...Maybe Naked With Kappy and Carla....Kappy Has Such A Wonderful Box
I'm really confused about the Kanye/McCartney thing. It doesn't appear like a collaboration at all. Just Kanye singing a shitty song and McCartney providing rhythm guitar and backing vocals. Kinda lame all the way around.

Even tho a billionaire, Paul McCartney is notoriously cheap. He probably is doing this crap for the money. Linda McCartney used to tell stories about living in borderline squalor.
Sir Paul is a billionaire and got away with paying Mills £25 mil plus £35k a year in child support. Pretty fucking cheap for a billionaire considering a typical middle class schlub in the US pays close to $30k a year in child support.

Wouldn't that be 9 months between vacations? Not really all that impressive for a champ.
This is a question that would be best answered by fellow musician, Mike O'Meara.

While venting about Kanye, Mike laments the fact that America likes despicable people these days. This from the guy who watches the "Real Housewives" each week.

I love his recaps of RHoBH....the ones where he calls both Richards sisters Kim
Maybe Robb and Mike are channeling Hope and Crosby.
Skewing to an even older demographic.
Does that make Oscar Desi Arnaz?
The only thing holding Robb back from owning the Hope character (besides talent and drive) is that he can't find boxing shorts that are oversized compared to his ass.

Is that a extra sleeve of balls in your pocket, or are you just glad to see me?
Although that wouldn't apply to LFF and Giraffe Neck, since he only achieves erection when somebody recognizes him, so it's never.
45 minutes in, LFF talks about yet another 911 call in Florida (they saw a car accident) and how he was in such a "zen like state" (his words) in face of an emergency that he got out of his car without putting it in park. Later, when thumping his chest about his qualifications (including his CPR knowledge, failing to mention breaking the dummy or being too hungover to attend the scheduled class) he seems to (for once?) stop himself from outright lying: "I was a lifeguard too, pal. i was the lifeguard that found the little boy. No I don't wanna [inaudible] No I don't wanna [inaudible] Somebody else found the kid..." Fatt Rob stepped on his mumbling both times, so I have no idea what he was avoiding.
The show started with story about a naked guy outside the DC studio, and LFF had Oscar repeat himself several times. They just can not communicate with each other. LFF doesn't listen, Blobb interrupts and derails anything not about himself... it's painfully bad.

Thank you FHC for the intuitive, funny and totally rockin' synopsis.
I listened today, in hopes of hearing about klub threads, but oh well.
One of the things that I've hated about the LFF was him not listening. I'm not sure what is going on, is he thinking about what to say next, just waiting for the other person to shut up so he gets his chance to talk, or just tuned out. Or, maybe the LFF can only really listen, in person.
It's gotten much worse. If anybody takes the floor away from the LFF for any real amount of time, the LFF punches out and makes the person repeat it.
I can't stand that behavior IRL.
For as stupid as the LPS is, at least he can follow the thread of a conversation.

Holy shit, I just spit out my drink. That's fucking great. Isn't this a little sad, though? He really did lose the weight before, but he wasn't able to keep it off. I'm guessing it had to do with that whole "exercise" thing. Sorry, Robb, lifting that glass of Crown doesn't count.

Sure. Just add 300lbs to Bing. "Save some [more room in those pants] for dad!"
Mike is acting like a conference call participant. Ignoring what others have to say. Waiting for his moment to chime in. And, like all bad conference call listeners, it's immediately apparent to everyone else on the call you haven't listened to one word.

Wow...you nailed it...Mike is totally that guy..,If he isn't repeating something somebody already said, he's asking them to repeat themselves

That would be spectacular, to see Rob(b) fired after one appearance (if he even made it to the airwaves). Well, on second thought, maybe not.
Well, Headdd's kids had another Honor Roll ceremony tonight, and like clockwork, that fat motherfucker once again interrupted it with a loud 'Yeah!', even though the principal acts that there be no outbursts. Those kids must loathe him.

Yeah, that's it 100%. He doesn't listen to anything that Robb and Oscar have to say. He is totally ill-equipped to run a show, which he never had to do with Don. If he interrupts the conversation one more time to ask what some random background noise is, I'm going to lose it. Half the time you can't even hear what he's talking about, but he feels it is important to stop the show down to point it out.
So wait, Fat Drunk Baby got out of a car IN DRIVE because he saw something and he thinks he handles situations well... listen to this show and re-evaluate your current career path, fat boy. Oh wait, that would require listening to your own show, Nevermind.

And he's proud of it. 100% the other parents hate him, the administration hates him, the other kids think he's a weirdo, and his own kids are filled with rage and shame.
There is quite a psychological issue in play when a father has to take attention away from his kids when they are being honored. This level of narcissism would explain why he sabotages his kids. He is competing with them. Pretty fucking sad behavior for a father.

I was a little 50/50 on that one. Didn't think Pauly came across very well. He certainly has stories, but he just seemed sad to me.

Sure, middle-school kids like nothing better than to have their parents bring attention to themselves in front of their peers. Does Headd think that his kids are beaming afterward – “yeah, that's our Dad, he's the coolest?” They probably want to crawl into a fucking hole when he pulls such shit. He’s overcompensating for the lack of a father presence at the school functions of his own chubby youth. You know, the ones where he and Sharon sang Elvis songs on the rides to and from the school.

Shocking. On Tuesdays show, they call his sister Kathy. The minute they mentioned her I out loud said "Did she send you a picture??? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA"
God, Rob that fat fucking waste is so predictable. Same fucking joke every goddamn time. I really need that shithead to have a stroke.

In what way did the Spewaks circumvent school rules to get their kids on that prestigious middle school honor roll?
