You think Mike will issue a Brian Williams apology after Oscar has a talking with him?

Even Oscar's not that dumb to think this is good for the show. Right?

Damn that has to be the best thread ever in the klub. To have Mike come out and call fans douches is just great. I think Oscar should encourage him to do it more without the inevitable block. That would at least keep me more interested than the current plan of " ignore until we can actually refute something." The best part is that these complainers are right in this instance, how hard is it to make a post saying there won't be a show or bonus on Friday? Hell, tell the intern to do it, he's the one posting on the show page.

Has anyone looked to see where TPerks is on iTunes compared to TMOS? They've been putting it on the TMOS RSS feed and I'm wondering which show they are trying to boost.

Nope, I'm assuming he'll double down on the dickiness, and fill 2 segments on what an asshole Fred Pankratius is, and how right he, LFF is (with Headdd braying and 'right'-ing all the way). The video will show O5car with his head in his hands.

In reading those various threads, the insanity of the klubbers is crazy. On one hand, LFF was browbeating all the non Bonus subscribers to get with it, and pony up the dough, and then the klubbers were browbeating subscribers for bitching that there was no show.

End times, my brothers and sisters, end times

Don't worry about Mike addressing the fan page controversy on Monday, he's already deemed this year Oscar's the worst ever on his FB page, so I'm sure that will dominate the conversation. It does make sense, since Mike is something of an expert on unwatchable/unlistenable shows.

Somebody should make "Mike O'Meara Awards Post-show" Bingo cards.

Easy squares that could be modified for each ceremony:

- NPH was too slick and cutesy
- Nobody was edgy
- "Back in the day..."
- Mike will have hated "Everything is Awesome," Oscar will have loved it and Mike will dismiss Oscar's opinion. (He will probably say "Everything is Suck" or something similar.)
- He will heap praise on everything about JK Simmons.
- American Sniper being snubbed will elicit some sort of completely middle of the road "I hate guns but I love soldiers" analysis.
- Probably a few minutes about hating "political" speeches.
- He will have loved Lady Gaga, just because it was Sound of Music. Robb will have hated it.

Ah yes, Douchey McDoucherton from Douchetown checking in.

IF you listened to the show, which you've already proved you don't, you'd know that they rent non-retail space on an upper floor of an old building in Glover Park. It's not even office space... Oscar's renting part of someone else's space. In short, Professor, it's a room no one was using.

I know it's proposal season, but you really seriously need to take some time out to, in the words of a great man, harm yourself.

I know right? And the reasoning(or lack thereof) sounded a lot like his reasoning for not taking a picture of the shutter he installed over his sink huh?

Unlistenable. A dog-crap covered man who will most likely get his kid killed because he's so irresponsible? I'm supposed to care?

OMeara can't care for his own kid, the babysitter is late, so he calls his wife and gets pissed at her because she makes him late for golf. Thrilling.

No mention of his three day vacation. Although he tried to imply some private tragedy struck.

Aha, so Blobb has confirmed that he does Mike's show prep.

I won't say he is flat out lying about that...

But I am one of the people that clearly heard him saying that since Oscar would not be on Friday's show, that there would not be a show that day. It was definitely more implied than stated, but if there was some sort of tragedy how would he know about it a full day in advance?

I might conjecture at this point, he'd consider having to walk the dogs tomorrow a tragedy.

the only tragedy is Mike's inability to come up with a better excuse on the fly.....Obviously, he thought Robb would still be sick on Friday , so he made "plans"(think TEE-TIME) and when Robb showed up, Mike was already in Punt Formation and called it...He probably FORGOT all about the Bonus show, and that's why he doesn't want to talk about it now...He is right about TMOS being transparent, cause we can see right through his lies now...

Someone should ask Santana about Friday. If he gets all wishy washy then it probably meant Mike went golfing.

I can't remember the last time there was no BOAD episode or reloaded.

Chad, Oscar and even Drab have other gigs.

Rob and Mike? Nothing!

Mike is clueless, Oscar can't be bothered and Robb doesn't want to share mic time....Poor Robert Ford never stood a chance

Sounds like Carla and Mike had a tiff. LFF says stuff happened, it's his stuff, we're not going to hear about it, and everyone's home. Carla left kid with LFF and took off for a "girls weekend" Friday to Sunday, forgetting stroller was in car. LFF texts her, "No stroller," Carla responds, "Damn." Love is in the air.

LFF concedes he and Carla will have to go out of their neighborhood for friends. Paranoid Mike thinks everyone is talking shit about him, and he doesn't like the tone used when they say, "Hi, Mike."

Just finished listening to the RoFo dating episode of the Tony Perkins Show. It was 1000% better than any TMOS episode in months. I'm not suggesting RoFo needs to be an equal participant, but he is pretty good on TPS. Why do Robb and Mike only berate and demean the interns? It really isn't fun to listen to.

Robb does it because he is terrified of the competition...Mike does it because he's just a bully, plain and simple...

I can't believe we got yet another segment of Dogshit Theater...Which makes the absence of an actual explanation about Friday even more suspicious...He will literally talk about grass growing...We know he didn't have a medical emergency....He would have milked that for at least 2 segments...And God knows if Carla/Lil Mikey had any sort of emergency, we would have heard about Hero Mike sacrificing/saving the day...That leaves GOLF...

Demeaning interns can be fun, but Mike and Robb are bad at it. Rob Ford is a damn near star on TP's show. I think they set him up to succeed, and are putting him over, but his tip ins have been so much wittier and intellegent than the average Robb quip.

Years from now, after Mike and Robb are long dead, and Oscar's forehead has receded all the way to his butt crack, someone will utter the phrase "fucked out" and I will recall fond memories of this thread.

Alcoholic benders while pregnant, real smart move. Gamble with the health of your baby so you can get your buzz on. Keep it classy Tardla.

“The problem with drinking alcohol during your pregnancy is that there is no amount that has been proven to be safe,” says Jacques Moritz, MD, director of gynecology at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital in New York.

David Garry, DO, associate professor of clinical obstetrics and gynecology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and chair of the Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders Task Force for the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists District II/NY, agrees. He says that researchers don’t know enough about the potential effects of drinking alcohol at particular times during the pregnancy to be able to say that any time is really safe.

Jealous and obsessed with a man who can't keep dog crap off his hands, almost let his kid get run over, couldn't wait for a babysitter, panicked and called his wife, got pissed that she almost made him miss his tee-time, then wasn't greeted with enough courtesy by the people at the club, who he thought he was golfing with but was wrong and he was bothering random strangers? And as was pointed out here isn't satisfied his neighbor's tone when they say "hello" to him? And thinks that's all fodder for a compelling podcast?

That's the best you can come up with, un-named emissary of Mike's Show, trying to do damage control on a message board?

Next time just try "I'm rubber and you're glue" Mike.

Thanks, Bubbyman!

Listened to Don G mention he could still afford his house, unlike Fatty Arbuckle O'Meara.

Sadly, I also listened to the clip you posted when O'Meara admitted he gave up drinking. He calmly and a little sadly pointed out he was an alcoholic, but not dependent. And he said he was giving up booze for his health and because it took so much out of him to be out late, tired and still do a show. And for his kid.

How pathetic it is that he's back on the bottle because his dope of a child bride doesn't think he 's enough "fun".

I'm a guy who totally enjoys TMOS. Take yesterday's show for example, and Mike's opening song about the Oscars. I haven't laughed that hard at a song parody since Jack Diamond played an exquisite one about the last episode of Friends in 2004. But that was from a radio comedy service. Mike wrote this one himself! What a talent! I mean, I nearly drove off the road laughing as I listened to Mike's clever rhyming couplets and mock sense of anger about the Oscars telecast. So witty, so sublime. And of course, Mike is such a perfectionist that he was miffed the song did not go as smoothly as he had planned. But who noticed? Kudos, Mike, for a wonderful job. I sense a real radio job is just around the corner for you now, my friend.

Dude! I totally agree! And remember when Mike told that story about the country club? He walked up and talked to the people he was going to golf with and they weren't friendly enough-! But it turned out they weren't even the people he was supposed to golf with! ha ha ! Comedy gold, man!

LFF, walking that fine line of saying funny things, and being such a complete fucking arrogant moron that we laugh AT him! He's so unbelievably stupid and clueless, and blends it seamlessly with the belief that he's more important than the people around him! Combine that with his inability to get his weight down below baby hippo level, and the fact that his body is finally breaking down, and it's laughs-a-plenty!
