Well, if you'd like to hear LFF's take on cyber-bullying, and for the love all that doesn't suck, why in the hell would you, tune into today's show.

I love the fact that they claim to be a "comedy" podcast, which is the funniest part of the show, and then they just go on and on and one about some inane topic in the news.

There was really no point in having guests today, or ever.

So, based on Tuesday's show the fat load was 'raised on the water'. In the sense that someone raised in Anacostia, Alexandria, or Georgetown or Arlington was 'raised on the water.' I used to check the tides on summer trips to Ocean City when I was a kid, just to know. I wasn't taking a boat out with my stripper bride and deformed son along with my ex-wife's daughter and her dimwitted friend.

How about getting out of the boat and pushing, you fat pussy?

Mike considers himself to be a nautical junkie. Keep in mind that Mike also considers himself to be a political junkie, albeit one who doesn't like people who argue using facts (I'm paraphrasing Mike).

Mike is sea savvy enough to know that "if you don't boat in the rain, you don't boat."

I always heard that boats were a lot of maintenance. Who maintains Mike's boat?

When did this thing about you have to get your engine flushed every time you come back from beaching it on a sandbar become a thing? I've actually spent some time not just on the water, but IN the water and never saw it happen, with either a speedboat or a tugboat. Of course I wasn't 'raised on the water.'

He kept going on about how people "can be found" -- which sounded like a veiled threat to FFXU. Yes, Mike, people can be found when they post (or tweet) things that contain personal info about themselves. But it's not that easy to find every person that posts on every message board on the net.

I remember my friend's dad flushing the engine every time he got it back home. We used it in salt water. No idea about beaching on a sandbar though. Maybe to flush out sand and crap that got in the engine with the water?

Just catching up, so I apologize if this has been mentioned earlier. Mike mentioned that back in the day he, his then wife and kids used to vacation in Myrtle Beach. So what did he do immediately upon his arrival:

(a) Spend some time with the family on the beach
(b) Offer to entertain his kids so his wife could take a break
(c) Take everyone to one of the Redneck Riviera's cultural offerings such as the Dixie Stampede
(d) Abandon everyone and head off to play golf and bitch about his fellow duffers

As anyone who ever went to Middle School or High School knows, nothing stops a bully in his tracks like some snappy repartee cribbed from Bing Crosby or Bob Hope.

Bully: "What's your problem, kid?"
Rob(b)(b): "I wanna tell ya . . . This kid's so tough, he tackled the other team's bus!"
Bully retreats, red faced, amid the other children's gales of laughter.

Yes, same principle. The engine uses the water it's operating in as coolant. So you wouldn't want salt water to remain inside the engine where it will corrode it. So if you sucked up dirt/grit from a sand bar, you'd want to flush out any debris that got sucked into the engine to prevent further or future damage. Even when I would pull a boat from a lake, I'd flush with fresh water just on principle. Of course LFF will have someone else do that instead of himself. I like how he told the guys at the marina to flush it but didn't fess up to what they might find because he felt stupid. Well that's because you ARE stupid Fat Mike.

There's just so much perfect here I may just repost this over and over.

I caught Fatty's "raised on water" comment too. Just like he's from Boston, Connecticut and DC and raised in Maine. Knows New England, relates to law enforcement and the military, doesn't "do rude", hates bullying, loves the gays yet somehow built a career on busting balls and fart jokes. Hates the shallow but married a women the same age and almost as dumb as his daughters. Loves his little boy, hates the elderly and moved to a retirement community in FLA.

Fatty Arbuckle walks up to the young players at a preseason game, hoists up his son and says "So which one of you young college boys wants to give my boy a baseball?!"

And is disappointed because only one does so.

Next update:

Fatty's little baby misbehaves at the pre-season game (not surprising, Grandpa, the kid's 16 months old) and he sends him home early with Carla. Then tells his daughters they will have to babysit, because Carls's pissed and he'll have to make it up to her that evening. Then uses that to prove he's an "Uber husband".

Holy shit. More incredible rock 'n' roll knowledge from Headdd today. Attributed the loss of Jerry Garcia's finger to diabeetus. Unless diabetes was Jerry's brother's name, or what his brother called the hatchet he was holding, I'm shocked to say that Headdd was wrong! I'd say that he needs to stick to things he knows, but I'm guessing he does know diabetes.

Jack Cassidy was a D-list celebrity and father of David and Sean Cassidy who burned to death nearly 40 years ago when he fell asleep on a coach while smoking. His charred corpse was found in the doorway of his apartment, so he obviously had a horrific and agonizing death. There's really nothing funny or relevant about him. Of course, we are also talking about grown men who laugh at the sounds of a woman having her face ripped off, so you have to take that into consideration.

Just listening to the Kurt Schilling story. Sounds like a bit of a pussy, but FDB and Fatt Rob think that because he's a baseball player he doesn't know anything about computers? Baseball players have a lot of downtime in the winter and on the road. Moe Berg spoke at least 4 languages, which came in handy for his work as an intelligence agent in WWII.

L'il Robert sounds like a bit of a pussy too. Too bad he lacks a father figure.

Haven't followed l'affaire Schilling, but how is saying you can't wait to date someone a threat? Dates are by definition consensual.

Three women I don't want to date:

FDB's ex-wife's daughters
Julia Spewak

Hmm, just realized... Slovak means someone from Slovenia, Polak means in Polish, someone from Poland, so what does Spewak mean?

Funny that Fatt Rob couldn't GO ONLINE to find an old episode of the Don and Mike Show for the Timmy clips.

And then he furthers his radio career by describing WJFK as "the most despicable place on earth". The phone should be ringing off the hook. Any day now, who wouldn't snatch up this fat grease-laden gem?

Curt Schilling got his cyber-bullies fired because they were half-brained morons on Twitter who used their real names and who talked about raping his under-age daughter. (I think one of them was a 50-something Yankees fan who was a part-time ticket collector). When you use your real name on Twitter, have a meaningless job and threaten rape, you should expect to lose your job. LFF doesn't really have a Schilling option, unless he wants to try to get klubbers fired for going to Disney instead of buying bonus shows.

So a couple years ago Roob made fun mercilessly of Daniel Von Bargen when he attempted suicide. He played his 911 call and giggled and snorted while the man described how he shot himself in the head, cannot see now, was suffering and just wanted to die. Ronick hadn't been fired at the time yet because he also made a childish pun about the actor's name and Jewish stereotypes. It was a cringeworthy, tasteless, and VERY unfunny moment in the early history of the podcast.

Today he plays a tribute to the actor in his audio vault AND the jackass has the gaul to put on the Ann Curry fake sad voice too. Eat shit and die Spewak.

It has been 0 days since LFF yelled at Spewakk for being lazy or doing something stupid

Sounds like Mike has found a good way to exploit his son.

He should teach Jr. to spit out cockroaches; Mike could score some free meals at the local diners with that bit/scam.

This combines many of the failcast's central problems. First of all, it's an ancient bit. Second, it's an ancient bit about a marginal celebrity from 40 years back. Third, it's a pure in-joke. They think it's funny because they've been doing it so long. Fourth, if (for whatever reason) some new listener was sampling their wares, it's not the least bit funny, because (as noted) it's an in-joke. Fifth, it's just not funny, whether you're a new, old, or in-between listener.

They're like two guys who went to high school together talking about that time they saw the cheerleader's nip slip. It was fifty years ago, and it wasn't that interesting THEN.

The JC bit is either:

1) TMOS listeners think it is a character invented by the LFF à la Charlie

2) The TMOS listeners are old enough for JC to be a relevant reference for them, which likely puts them in their 50's

How often do people in their 20's watching fucking Bewitched nowadays?

On that topic, LFF bitching about having to fill time is a joke. I give slack to broad/pod/casters when they have to fill hours per show. 79 minutes including ads? Not at all.

Especially frustrating when you consider how often LFF complains about others not doing their jobs. He drones on about cashiers, nurses, waitresses and clerks in various hardware stores not snapping to attention. Then can't just fill that 79 minutes without a complaint himself.

Maybe all of the talk about down subs and whatnot is really spelling the end of TMOS. If they can't keep a page up that makes them $ or maybe they had to make a sophie's choice...

I don't want the podcast to end; if so this thread will end too, and it's entertainment value which is pretty good.

Successful people. Read real estate listings from the back of a magazine for multi-million dollar homes and ended the "bit" with, "these people can essadee"

This was the show opener. I guess it's a continuation from "yesterday's" show.
