There was a show a while back where Mike talked about buying a mixing board at guitar center - too stupid or impatient to use his own Amazon portal. That's when I decided I no longer felt any need to help "keep their families fed" via Amazon.

Well, I was going to say that it seems Mike is increasing his efforts slightly, but, it's probably only because next week is a vacation week for them. We'll see what happens when they get back. I also think Oscar was laying it on a little thick to Mike and Rob about weekly as in meetings, the funny part was they never even questioned it.

funny, they aren't a 1 car family anymore, Mike bought a Honda to drive, only mentioned it once as a throwaway, comment about back-up cameras and where they put them on cheap cars...He never mentions it now because he likes using the label 1 car family when he is guilting his rubes into buying multiple copies of his pamphlet

Oddly enough, the Pats are the one Boston team Mike doesn't root for, them, the Bruins and the Celtics...Other than that, Boston all the way...He was born and raised there, on the water if I remember correctly

Tech 411 is my favorite show on the MORE network....Todd actually knows what he's talking about, his lack of a filter is a definite plus when it comes to tech and Oscar's unintentional comedy is great...Plus we get a lot of Buzzword Oscar and Horses'ass Oscar and those are my favorite Oscars

Tech 411 is my favorite on MORE too. I think it's because Oscar can be mindless and himself. Kind of like on BOAD. On both of those he's not driving. Even though Mike is the MO in TMOS, it seems like Oscar is always trying to reign in the idiocracy of Mike and Rob, except for when he gets to tell a story of his own.

I wish they would do one a week. They need to get an intern, Oscar is overworked and the grunt work of Tech 411 is low on his list

I would disagree about Oscar being overworked. He lives walking distance from his studio. So maybe he's not even in the room at BOAD. bUT If he is, that's his only real commute. And he's on scholarship from Papa and loans for school. I've seen MBA programs and it's a nice credential to let someone justify hiring you but it's not rocket science.

Plus he's got his paid live-in fucking machine to relieve the stress of his daily drive around the block.

I don't know is why I ask.

I don't know for sure either, some record ahead of time, some just go dark for the period. Last time Don went on break he said something like "If you want a best-of, just pick a random old episode to listen to." I think it just varies.

Marc was on Air America in 2004 and was more or less on the radio since then.

Sure, Marc tries and is smarter than the LFF, but Marc had at least 5 years of radio experience before starting his podcast.

Who the fuck listened to Air America? Nobody. It failed. Maron also did weekends and appeared on shitty stations. Hopefully you aren't this bad at writing proposals.

They are taking a week plus vacation and act like we knew. Some of us realized it from in-jokes but most don't. Why the extra day? Mike's going to honor a friend of his cousin who was hurt during the Boston bombing by watching the marathon. Then complains about the Boston traffic.

Mike lets his phone ring during the show, screws up the Oscar-azzi intro then blames his phone. Someone (probably Robb) left their email app open so that once he introduced his crap comedy bit we listened to it ding every few moments. Then Robb did a story that Mike had already read about Michael Jackson pranking Russell Crowe. Have a great vaca, jerks!

Don't get me started. There now, I'm STARTED. In olden times FDB was second banana and Don was properly the boss. Also for all Don's talk about not being smart, he finished high school when he was 15. Here FDB thinks of Buzz as his employee. And Buzz is clearly right, and smarter, and calmer, so the comparing of the degrees.
