The RCA 77DX is a microphone.
The **cable** is called XLR, and is what Rob(b) should be using to hang himself.
Back in my own radio days, that mic could do beautiful things to your voice, depending on how you mounted it. Its insides actually respond to gravitational forces. Hang it "upside down" and it can practically turn a tenor like me into a baritone.

Probably. I think building a roster of shows is the right idea. But you need some level of talent and appeal. It's also helpful if you have a tentpole show that will drive traffic to the side show, like TMOS finally does after years of clowning on here.
RELM has none of that.

Concerned nailed the MansLaughter analysis. Every episode is pointless, and there's no excuse for leaning on wives, girlfriends, babies, and grandma's for regular mic duties. They had a couple of characters that worked early on, but they banished both of them. Jonah and some other dude.

Cake and Cookies was pretty great this week. No schtick, no bits.
They went to see the Stevie Wonder concert and just relayed the whole thing. Lots of great music, honest discussions of their experiences...
It was like a Nerdist Hostful episode. Just people who like each other enjoying the fact that they get to hang out for an hour.
The problem is that you could tell they thought they were putting out an awful show since they are so stuck in the "Hot Talk" radio mindset.
When in fact it was one of the best they have ever done.
Hopefully they will get positive feedback and realize that they are doing a PODCAST and NOT A RADIO SHOW.

That's the dude. He was a more likable Ram type, but Marc and Lowell didn't understand how entertaining he was to the listener. Back to stories of Lowell's wife returning groceries.
Never forget: she returned perfectly good groceries because she went on some wacky diet AFTER purchasing them. She returned them knowing that the store would be forced to dispose of them. That's a dick move, cheapness or not. This was during their constant coupon and discount discussion era haha.

agreed...I liked it when Don did it, but as he was quick to point out whenever Bobo got involved, Robb didn't ever actually work with him...That's why Robb gets such a hard-on for it on TMOS, he gets to do it too now

Just to be clear - I'm only marveling at the absurdity of these shows. If something interesting happens I'm sure Fan or Bubby will post it. That show was abysmal.

So I took in Cake and Suckies last bit with Julia and there is some awkwardness when Robb questions her about who pays for all the tix...his assertion that he contributes sounds a wee tad pushed.
