English is NOT his second language, it's his first. That is the excuse he uses when he gets called out on his shitty use of the language. It's not because it's his second language, it's because he's retarded.

His Spanish is actually worse than his English. It's painful when he tries to speak it. He stammers and pauses to try to think of any sentence that is slightly more complicated than "where is the bathroom".

He's just dumb. The other days on boad he said "well regardless... Sorry, irregardless..". He corrected his proper use of the word to the clichéd stupid person use of the word.

SupposeBly, irregardless, literally (when meaning figuratively). Oscar has all the language traits of the moron, because he I'd one.

If they lose insurance, does that mean they take Robb's nighttime breathing aparatus away? That would be such a shame.

Yes, he was talking about the birth of the first daughter and called her Catherine Elizabeth, then once he realized it, had to explain that Elizabeth was actually his second daughter's name.

Tell me peekza, how do you think of the names of the photos you post? While posting this I was wondering about the spelling of her name and Had a laugh at the name you have on that pic.

All the CPAP machine does is create a positive airflow. Robb can accomplish the same thing by substituting a hose connected to the exhaust pipe of his running car.

In fact, Mike could save some money doing that, too. Unfortunately he doesn't read this thread when he's drinking at night, so he won't find out about this great idea.

Added benefit: it completely eliminates snoring.

Toward the beginning of Thursday's show Fatt Rob said something to Dr. Carson about "Friday morning". What was that about?

And now Cary's going to run an unlicensed daycare facility? What could possibly go wrong?

It was good to have the steady oar-hand of Fuckwaddle to explain the new economy to us, the one where "there are no more jobs" even though Obama, his guy, fixed it.

While probably true, that is the lowest of low bars. That's like walking into an retirement home and saying "I can kick the ass of anyone here."

You can tell Oscar is getting an MBA because Mike is using "price point" when he means price.

Not that Oscar knows the difference. He's still trying to break the code on percentages.

This just boggles the mind. Somehow Fatt Rob thinks paying COBRA or out of pocket individual health insurance (for a family of four) while Cary walks dogs and occasionally babysits (she has a degree in cartography and I think worked at USGS before Blob(b) got shit canned and refused to find a real job) is a step forward. I do enjoy Oscar giving him shit for not really being employed though. Sometimes I actually hope his heart doesn't explode before 50, because it will be quite entertaining to watch him try and put two kids through college and retire at some point on his dumpster fire of a "career".

Oscar was using bullshit pseudo-business buzzwords long before his MBA. He's not a bright guy. Hard working for sure, but dumber than a radio shack XLR cable. Most people I know who went back to school to get an MBA did it to get into investment banking, not to run a shit stain podcast.

Remember the days of BOAD on WJFK? Oscar used "I'm ALL in", "your boy O" and "A La" as painful crutches. As in "he played a villain, A La Darth Vader". So much so that during the Dysfunctional X-Mas show Chad - already mad that Oscar was leaving early - said, "without Oscar who will use "A la" in a sentence."

Ugh, I forgot about A La. One of the worst verbal crutches in the history of humanity. O'Meara and Robb are bad, but they have nothing on Oscar's A La.

Speaking of, as mentioned I haven't listened since the Charleston shootings for fear of the hot takes, I remember that LFF said after an opening day Red Sox win something like "you guys mark my words, this is gonna be another one of those big years, I can just feel it" (not verbatim, but the gist).

The Red Sox are 69-76 and in last place in their division.

All true about O5car's verbal crutches, but I've had about all I can handle of Chad's non-stop ballwashing of Carolla, and his appropriation of Adam's pet phrases. Just about every episode of BOAD will contain 'tip of the spear', 'settle his hash', and others that slip my mind right now.

That's JV, bro.

Yeah that's Chad's shtick. He's like bizarro Robb except everything he steals is contemporary instead of 50+ years old. And Chad makes a shitload of money for someone without an original idea ever. I didn't realize that even the name of Chad's show was a rip off until I Googled it.
I'm pretty sure Chad buys his Ipads with his own money though, so he's got that going for him.

So after painting the back, I paid this farmer dude 50 bucks to drop his manure.

Robb's Audio Vault?

Delicious Audio is a three-part audio service that includes:
Original, fully produced, cutting-edge comedy. The most fully functional sound bites from the hottest entertainment, news, sports, and reality shows. Slickly produced show openers, topical montages and "extras" that make your show sound polished and current.

Delicious Audio is...Why should you care?
A stand-alone elite audio service...
Given the strength of Delicious Audio, other companies have resorted to bundling multiple services together, which equates to a "quantity over quality" mentality. We firmly focus on and consistently deliver QUALITY over quantity.

Fully produced, exclusive, original comedy from our in-house Hollywood-caliber production team...
Most services do not have an in-house production team creating original comedy. They rely on sporadic contributions from amateur freelancers.

Consistently funny comedy...
You can depend on us to deliver comedy that makes you laugh out loud every day. You don't have to play 10 clips to get to one that's funny.

Selective excellence... we don't overwhelm you with a barrage of mediocre clips from last night's TV shows...
It doesn't do you any good to have to sort through 20 clips from some third tier reality show at 5:30 in the morning. We only deliver clips that are interesting enough that you'll want to use them on your show. With the most popular shows, we take the time to condense the most important highlights into one sixty-second recap montage.

Perfectly written setups that can be read off the screen...
Most services don't provide any setups, or provide inadequate ones. We know our job is to make your life easier. We provide enough background information that if you're using clips from last night's episode of a popular TV show, you can talk about it intelligently even if you didn't actually watch the show when it aired.

Highest quality sound and precise editing...
When other services provide clips from TV or the Internet, they provide them "as is," even if the sound quality is poor. We take the time to enhance each clip as necessary to make sure it sounds perfect.

Show montages and "extras" that make your show sound polished and topical...
These are the finishing touches you and your staff don't always have the quality time to produce on your own.

Drops you'll love using on your show...
We have the experience and expertise to recognize the "funny" and extract it from everyday TV and movie audio. You simply don't have the time to dig into the details to find, pull, and edit drops. Our clients love our "drops" section.

Most ironic part is when they made fun of the advice to "laugh at your own jokes" and Fat Rob screamed "WHAT??" Like he doesn't do that 40 times a day for the last 5+ years. He and LFF do over half of that hacky shit yet make fun of the advice to do what they're already doing.

Of course I guess I don't "get" the incredibly meta joke.

Great "MBA Oscar" talk on today's show. The delusion is staggering. He really thinks that the problem with growing the show is that they need more efficient and easier delivery methods. Make a pile of shit easier to acquire isn't going to make me go out and get some. It's the content Oscar. You can do all the Advanced Oscar Analytics you want but it isn't going to translate into a single new subscriber. He's got a bright future as a management consultant however. Pure bullshit delivered in all the latest buzzwords.

Got around to listening -- it's worse than that. Cary has been taking home stuff from the Leesburg, Arundel Mills and Gettysburg stores to sell. She sold 5 mannequins for $50 each, and asked Robb if she should bring home metal fixtures to sell as scrap! Holy shit.

Mike should never have Rob and Joe on while Robb and Oscar are present. It's like having Body Heat Kathleen Turner on with present day Kathleen Turner.

Mike obviously knows he can't keep up, comedy-wise, so he goes into impression overdrive. At least he announces who he is trying to do, to eliminate a bunch of confusion.

Rob and Joe remind me of snarky Buzz, throwing in zingers without an accompanying laugh track.

Mike's first segment is a discussion based on info from Studio Think Tank. But, Mike being Mike, he never even opened the site prior, and he discovers it wasn't what he was expecting. Show Prep = Keeping things organic = No Show Prep.

Political junkie Mike discusses the debate in great detail. Policies or issues? No, physical attributes. Cunt ear Mike laughing at big ear Rubio is kind of ironic.

Of course political pundit Robb joins in with a joke about one candidate's vaginal dryness (earlier, Robb talked about lazy DJs that go for the obvious joke). Mike makes a comment about Robb's joke being sexist, and says, "but she's a woman; we're men. We can't really help ourselves." Mike's golfing partners use a similar argument to rationalize their jokes, too.

The guys are not impressed that the candidates couldn't come up with howlers when asked about what woman should be on the $10 or $20 bill. These idiots have had a day to come up with better zingers, and only guest Rob came up with anything remotely humorous.

Robb is afraid of wax museums. I'm guessing his mom once had a bowl of wax fruit, so Robb now associates wax with fruit; pretty scary.

Oscar appears to be winning in his slams on Robb. Robb can only nail Oscar on his English. OTOH, Oscar has a target-rich environment, and Mike enjoys piling on.

Been listening to random Don and Mike shows on paintyourbaldspot. I listened to one from 2006 today with Robb as producer. They were going to do their "time machine" bit where they call someone who is in a timezone that's far enough ahead that it's a different day. Not really funny or interesting.

You may wonder how someone could possibly fuck that up? Well I'll tell you. You book someone for the interview that is from Holland so when Don and Mike ask what it's like on Friday his answer is "It's still Thursday, it's only 10pm here".

Going back and listening to him as a producer really gives you an appreciation for how stupid Robb really is.

Hey Mr. Thickness - Save a piece of Kappy pie for dad now!

I am truly enjoying everybody's posts here.

I think Mike's preoccupation with bitterness is the purchasing of the Maine home. Think about it. We all knew that the Florida home was purchased years ago as a summer "cottage," so didn't we all think that it was pretty weird of him to move the whole family down there??? I mean, Florida did not have a place equal to his frickin' "1903 Victorian."

BUT (and it's a big one, it's Mike's) LFF expects what's left of his listeners not to notice that he's buying (or has bought) a large estate in Maine AFTER crying the financial blues since moving to Florida?? What gives??

What we all don't understand is that when Carla was buying the Maine home, Mike thought the garage was what he was buying. That's much more like a double wide, except for the second floor..... But surely he was just looking at pics and never noticed the stairs.... Or windows......

This is how Oscar differs from Mike.

Oscar applies his work ethic to accomplish things.

Mike applies his working ethnic (Oscar) to accomplish things.

Mike is a terrible interviewer, though being awful at it doesn't prevent you from being successful. Larry King made a career out of being a horrendous interviewer who walked into interviews with no prep, hence such gems as asking Jerry Seinfeld if his TV show had been cancelled (it wasn't, Seinfeld ended it) and accusing Roman Polanski of murdering his wife Sharon Tate (it was the Manson Family). Then you have Glenn Beck who poses questions and then answers his own questions while the guest looks on, until Beck bursts into tears because he loves America so much. Still, given how TMOS keeps losing listeners, it would be nice if LFF took his own advice to "Try Harder."

Cary the Scavenger brings a couple of questions to mind...One, do you think her corporate overlords gave her permission to suck the gold fillings out of the stores she is closing? Two, is this all a clever ploy to flip the script and make Robb the primary breadwinner again?

Cary's activities would indicate she's on a trajectory to become a hoarder/cat lady once the kids are out of the house. I would have to imagine that by now she has no misconceptions about Robb's initiative or her ability to influence it.

It was interesting to note during "Friday's" Oscar Analytics discussion that he acknowledged that TMOS is a radio show on podcast and that they were actively trying to get back on radio stations. Unfortunately for them, no matter how many times Oscar "runs the numbers" and polishes his powerpoint presentation, any potential radio stations are going to actually listen to the show prior to signing them and that's a hurdle that they cannot hope to overcome. C'mon guys try harder!
