Actually, the more this thread stays dead, the more the MOMS podcast suffers. Right now it is ranked 56th on iTunes. The more active this thread is, the higher the podcast ranks. This thread needs to stay on the down low and not draw attention to itself in order for Mike to fail even more.

This threads demise is MOM's fault,,,,,theres not enough happening on that damn podcast to comment on,,,,you can only ridicule the same thing so many times,and thats all you get,the same thing over and over.
Its like when you hit a 'possum on the road and notice in the rear view mirror it's still kickin,,,,so you go back and hit 'em again,,sure it's fun the first couple of times but in the end you just have guts all over your car and you gotta go clean it up,,,
The MOM show is dead in the road,run over till its not fun anymore,and now it needs to be cleaned up

I apologize for my brief hiatus from the thread. As pointed out in earlier posts, I have been slacking on my hate, and for that I am truly sorry. The thread is in a very fragile state and needs constant attention, similar to the ego of one Mr. Mike O’Meara. Like the aforementioned lush, the thread takes a long weekend every now and then, it will bounce back, don’t you worry. As long as TMOS podcasts it’s dreck to “all 50 states and 150+ countries around the world”, this thread will stand firm, as a fixture besmirching the landscape of the FU general forum.
I have noticed that the thread has stayed toward the top of the list, so thanks for that, even if you just posted how dead the thread is, a bump is a bump.

Looks like 'Ol Ciao Ciao Happy Feet Santana is taking another Vegas trip to sell the baffling "Man-Grates". This leaves Mark Ronnick (sp?) in his chair, who says all of two words the entire hour. If I was him, I'd try to spice it up, throw in some shtick or attempt something. Good lord, ANYTHING. He's probably too frightened to piss off Mike in his own house, but still. Mike is so stubborn that the only thing he's comfortable with is the sound of his own bitching supported by weak side quips from Buzz and Robb.

How is it possible that you are able to recap today's show before it has been recorded? Oh wait that was yesterday's show or was it the day before? Actually it's every show! As previous posts have declared, it's hard to make fun of the same ol' lame pabulum every day. Mike: ok, we get it, you and your show suck, but at least switch it up a little, keep 'em guessing. A little song a little dance, a little seltzer in your pants.
Truth be told I think O’Meara’s just too lazy to care, he longs for another alpha male to take over, do the show prep, push all the buttons, and “stir the drink” so Mike can just show up at the last minute, put his feet up on the counter and veg until called upon to dance like a trained monkey.

The problem with such a yucky couch is that his fat legs get all sweaty, and his nasty, unwashed ballsacks tend to stick to his obese inner-thighs causing him discomfort and alot of squirming resulting in a reduction of the quality and consistancy of the podcasts.

Another show where Mike shows how stupid he is. His dog hates him for a good reason. Mike obviously tortured the thing and that's why is runs scared. He should certainly get rid of the dog so maybe we can stop hearing about dog shit. What a tard to have to have his neighbor yell at him to turn off the tv. Another boring show. You can tell that TMOS is the last thing on Oscar's mind. I think he'll walk from the show pretty soon. He's too good to hang with this flop of a show. There is a very fine line between love and hate. In the end, they are flip sides of the same coin. Both of them require a fair amount of passion to exist. The surest sign that the Mike O'Meara Show is done is the fact that no one can even get up the energy to hate on it anymore. It has simply ceased to matter in any way, shape or form that can be measured. The oposite of love is NOT hate, it's indifference. Now that the TRUE haters of the M.O'M Show don't even give a fuck anymore, it's REALLY time for Mike to wrap it up. Once your haters can't even be bothered, you know it's well and truly done.

I think I drove by the home of O'Meara in Manassas the other weekend , on Beauregard Street, on my way out to Old Dominion Raceway. Had a SUV up on blocks around back and the yard hadn't been mowed in awhile. I think O'Meara was doing some porch sitting.

it would never happen, but the addition of don would make the show so much better. i cant even listen anymore because mike is just so entertaining and NOT FUNNY. mike can't lead a show. he simply does not have a feel for what the audience wants to hear. the show cast is full of back-up personalities. All of them are kinda funny in their own ways, but they don't have a leader in the group that can push the group towards engaging topics. That was something don was always good at. The last poster was correct though, don wouldn't show his face around that podcast because he has probably already realized how low quality it is and wouldn't want to put his name on it.

I listened to some of today's show. Mike devoted the first half of the show to talking about the Red Sox (I guess -- I zoned out after a minute or two). Then he talked about (what else?) eating. Then there was 10 minutes of Rob(b)'s audio vault of clips everyone has already heard. Then Buzz gave me the news from five days ago.
Surprisingly, Mike didn't talk about his dog shitting all over his house. He must have managed some time out of his busy schedule to prep for this episode.

Another week of boring shows. I'm about to quit listening. BAM used to help make this show funny ans interesting. This show has no callers, hardly any guests, and most importantly - NO FUNNY! They talk over Buzz every time to speaks - even during the news! Rob laughs like an ass at Mike no matter what he says - he's a huge ass kisser. They prmised vodeo two months agao and it hasn't happened. These guys are like amatuer hour at college. I hope DG gets back on the air soon. I miss him, and Mike can't hold a candle to DG. This show is such a disappointment. It's too bad because I think these guys have some talent, but they have no direction, no leadership, and no identity. The audio vault, most of the time, is meant for video, not radio! These guys need to focus on what makes good radio and drop all content that is obviously meant for video. Get a clue guys!

I'm done listening myself. I used to like Mike and the WJFK gang - but this new podcast sucks ass. It's not funny. Comedy is so easy to find on Itunes - and this show is not it. I predict it will last less than a year because a) it's not funny b) advertising looks bleak c) Itunes ratings are horrible and d) it's not as good as the WJFK show and therefore lots of people like me that are looking for 'the old show' are not finding it here. Buzz - keep looking for a real job - as you're the only one that appears employable.

There are much better podcasts out there on iTunes besides this O'Meara piece of crap. WTF with Mark Maron did a whole show interviewing Robin Williams from his house talking about his drug use, heart surgery & REAL showbiz stuff. About 5000% more entertaining than Mike's waste of bandwidth talking about dog shit and being fat & drunk. Adam Corolla's TV pilot was not picked up by NBC, and he now says he's going to focus more on his podcast and bring it back up to how his radio show used to be. He also has good guests & takes calls on occasion.
Mike's show can't even measure up. He needs to hang it up and go find a station to spin records at. That'll be hard though, after listening to his podcast, it sounds like he's pretty much blackballed HIMSELF from the radio industry by the comments he's made. What a bonehead. He, Robb, Oscar & Buzz will definitely never be offered any decent jobs in radio again thanks to their comments about CBS.

What do you consider a "decent job" in radio these days for talk-DJs like the MOM crew? Terrestrial is pretty much out, so the only choices are to do voiceover work (which Buzz should focus on exclusively) or spin music like Rob does for AM or satellite stations....or stick with podcasting. Today's tidbit: Starting Fri June 4th, Mike will offer a "bonus" hour every week for anywhere from $1.39 to .99 per show. He claims they will riff, and anything goes. This will be in place of the donations link. Still looks like a bad biz plan from here. And oh yes the show just isn't funny, at all.

They are desparate for cash folks. Mike admits the show isn't sustainable as-is. Claims that ads and sponsor money can't pay the bills. Put a fork in it folks. The extra hour for payment is a real danger sign for them. Sure, a few folks will pay to listen for some more time, but 95% of folks won't pay. They'll learn this soon enough - and aftera month or two of more failure - they'll call it quits. They have mouths to feed, and they are finally realizing that this format can't work. Why won't it work - because it's not funny.

When will these guys realize that a lot of their show is meant to be shown, not heard? Robb, the audio vault is for audio - it's not supposed to be a teaser for looking for it on video.
