OK, I think we've bashed Rob long enough. It's a weight issue - and this is about his proferssional career. Some big people are just food addicts - and it's hard to break that. As for his radio career - he needs to stop being a biggot and maybe he'll make it. He is funny, knowledgeable, and very quick witted - all should work well for him on the air - no matter how he looks. He should drop off TMOS and find a radio job where he isn't allowed to be a biggot. He might make it then.

This is a good image to work with. Notice none of these unemployed guys have long hair, beards or moo moo shirts on. They all had good haircuts and suits...they looked professional. And they weren't obese pigs because whatever bread and soup they got, they probably gave most of it to their families.

I predicted the MOM show would fail on JFK. I was right. I predicted that the podcast would be a flop. I was right. I commented on how stupid Mike's strategy was for picking up radio stations for his podcast. I was right. I predicted Mike would eventually give the rest of the guys the finger and get his own gig. I was right. So, in terms of this particular thread, I may not be a know-it-all, but I was pretty damn close on a lot of it.

I agree, there was bound to be a little bump, what with the return of a "radio god" and all that jizz. But I would guess that the ratings will dip back down and plateau at some point. Then it will be a question of ad revenue vs. salary, I look forward to the all new, Kirk and Shamrock show.

This turd of a show needs to be polished quickly if they want to stay alive.

You can really tell that the station is behind them, with all of the cash they are dropping on ads for the new morning show. Their actions speak volumes, just look at that new studio that they built for Mike, and of course his huge paycheck.

Advice to Mike: Keep showing up late and don't attend any station meetings, that'll show 'em whose boss!

Agreed. If you look at the picture on the MOM website he looks pretty decent albeit overweight. He is also dressed in a sports jacket. I know that picture was taken at the beginning of the podcast as Oscar is featured in the photo. Hard to believe that picture was taken less than a year ago.

That's the old promo photo from the WJFK site. It was probably taken back in the 90s when he was promoted from "danger boy" to whatever the hell he supposedly did on the show during Don's tenure.

As someone who's seen Robb as recently as last week, I can assure you he is not fat in any sense of the word. He spends alot of time at the gym and is looking pretty svelte. If you ever listened to the show you would know that he was a healthy eater who promoted good, clean living. He's also an avid martial arts trainer and teaches pilates in his spare time. He's not overweight. He looks good actually.

If there is one thing Oscar is good at, its marketing. How else can a doughy Mexican guy land a piece of ass like his current fuck buddy and former Junkette, Kara? He aligns himself with the right people then goes in for the kill at the right moment. His whole life revolves around favors from "friends". For example His radio career, which then lead to an improved "social life", his current job, and let's not forget the hobnobbing with various sports figures courtesy of a "friend".

On today's podcast, Robb revealed that he bought a "new" car (a used 2007 Chrysler 300M). "How could he do this? He has no job!" you all might say.

WTF? Did this listener help Robb financially buy this car? OMG... What a bonehead mistake this "Nick" fellow just made! This is like giving a garbage can full of crack rocks to a crack addict! Robb is never going to look for a job now... he'll just rely on handouts from listeners! He also said sarcastically that he is looking forward to the first payment next month... whatever. You have to take a look at the other factors involved in the trade...

Can you even begin to imagine the stench emanating from that vehicle? Even a Bentley would be worth about $200 after Rob(b) has had his way with it. If you look under the layers discarded KFC wrappers and Elvis 8 tracks, you'll find a well worn driver's seat that looks as though it has been the resting place for two ten ton hams. How's that suspension looking?

Bottom line, Carmax can't flip this vehicle, the best they could possibly do is send it to auction. I'm sure Rob(b) overpaid for his "new" car, the salesman probably smelled him coming. The conversation most likely started with "so, what are you looking to pay each month? (for the next 5 or more years)." I'm sure between his wife's job at target and whatever mangrate spoils are tossed his way they can just barely make the monthly payments on that money Chrysler.

looks like the boys are really desperate for money now. i stopped listening a couple of weeks after they did the RAW thing. i remember them saying they were taking it down shortly after that. I followed their FB page for a while when i was giving the show a chance and i never deleted it. Today they posted saying they have re-posted their RAW shows. they will do anything to make a buck. desperate for money hahahahahaha. terrible show. Big O and DUkes is where it's at...too bad it's only once a week though.

Mike's podcast gets a spike in interest due to his radio show and Don coming back. It enters the Top 10. It is now on its way back down the charts to oblivion.

Another BIG factor is that Mike's now starting to discuss certain topics (Mel Gibson tapes, Oscar's woman troubles, etc.) ONLY on the pay-per-listen "Bonus" shows. In the end, this is going hurt the free podcast. Listeners will tune out of the free podcast because they are not talking about the popular and engaging topics of the day. On today's free show Mike spent practically half the show talking about what kind of hats to sell on the website. ZZZZZZZ. It's like they did a pre-show meeting for the show and recorded it... instead of the actual show itself. Earlier in the week they did an infomercial-like show pitching a new sponsor (a fantasy football website) for nearly half of the podcast. They had the guy who ran the website as a "guest". Lame.

Mike's podcast won't survive if they keep talking about the most entertaining stuff ONLY on the "Bonus" show. And once again... it's not really a "Bonus" if the listener has to pay for it. Mike is shooting himself in the foot with the "Bonus" shows. It'll only be a matter of time before listeners will eventually find Carolla, Mark Maron and others that talk about the more entertaining topics of the day, uncensored, everyday... and for FREE.

Mike really needs to rename the "Bonus Show" to "The-Show-That-You-Have-To-Pay-For-In-Order-To-Hear-The-More-Entertaining-Topics-That-We-Witheld-From-You-Suckers-All-This-Week".

His business model will implode if he only talks about hats, Oscar's uneventful DMV experiences, standing around in Iowa airports and kissing sponsors asses on the free show. IT'S NOT ENTERTAINING AT ALL.

Robs mom must be really proud of her son. He has a great set of skill sets.

1. Laugh like a donkey at anything Mike says
2. Spend hours on the internet right-clicking and saving youtube VIDEOS for an audio show.

He also knows lots of stuff about 1960's TV, that is something to be proud of!

If Rob(b) was smart he would be working on "The Unauthorized Biography of The Don and Mike Show".

If he told the truth and didn't try to protect everyone in the show,this could actually be a fascinating book

Um, Rob(b) may not be too familiar with Word, do you think they would accept it scribbled on an index card with a sharpie? As for the failcast, I suspect two things are happening. Obviously the remaining TMOS fans are dropping like flies. Also, the failcast crew have been neglecting their duties to "enhance" the iTunes numbers. I think moral has hit an all-time low among TMOS fans and crew alike.

O'Meara is really painting himself into a corner. Alienating the few followers he has all while driving what's left of his radio career straight into the crapper. There are only a handful of companies out there willing to take a chance on a guy with Mike's track record, the now two time looser will have quite a challenge once he is let go from "the edge". What an ironic name for the station that will be O'Meara's last hurrah.

There is no doubt that Mike O'Meara is posting most of this and have suspected it for years. Otherwise it's like continually talking about your ex-girlfriend.
