Uh-oh, looks like freedom of speech is not so free around here anymore! Is Cary moderating his website now? Seems that a lot of posts from earlier today that I remember reading are no longer there. Could that be because they are critical of Cary? No, that would be censorship and we know how much our champion of the first amendment loves his freedom of speech!

How do you figure I don't know what I'm talking about? The posts that were there earlier today are not any more. Why would that be? Because they were critical of the suddenly very sensitive cary. Got another theory tough guy?

Mad Max--not all of them. There are a lot of posts that were made in threads that used to be here that are now over there, but there are A LOT of individual posts in threads in this forum that are now gone. To be honest, the loss of them is not a big deal because they were moronic, but it's a matter of consistency. A precendent was set and now cary is going back on it.

You have to admit, many of the posts served no purpose and just took up space. He's not deleting anything substantial.

Max, I admit as much, but that's not really the point. If you want to stand up for free speech and the first amendment, you do that in all forms, whether you agree with it or not. You don't delete posts because they are directed towards you or are idiotic. Some of this trash is somewhat amusing if you can sift through the crap.

He's simply making it easier by not forcing readers to sift through crap. The kid touching posts got old quickly.

Max, if you look at this site before the problems with Don came up, there was plenty of other crap of a similar nature being thrown around here. Maybe not kid touching, but plenty of joking around between people. Why now is it a problem? Because there is more of it? I say no, it's because it is directed at cary and that is bullshit.
